  • In his second State of the State address, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore further advanced his vision to "leave no one behind" through four pillars. Moore's address on Wednesday focused on making the state safer, more affordable and competitive, as well as a state that serves. To do so, he said his administration will enact a state plan that prioritizes public safety, housing, child care and child poverty. The governor declared the state of the state as strong while acknowledging unfinished work to solve big problems, as well as lessons learned in his first year in office.

Wes must be putting the pressure on Baltimore City government. The police presence in Baltimore these days has been high. I think he knows if he can help get Baltimore under control, then he’ll be a strong future candidate for the presidency

1:00 I still love their sports teams and the stadium experiences the city provided us. Especially during the 1990s and 80s

Actually, they're calling for real prison time for violent crime and drug peddling.

Actually, we want service NOW. We already understand that "investing in children" is code for feeding the filthy education system we have in place...js I've lived here longer than this governor has been alive.

Who is he kidding? We all feel the pain, but rest assured we will not be feeling the comfy limo rides education officials enjoy back and forth from their cushy 9 to 3:30 m-f "jobs" while burning up their $235,000.00 compensation...

Unsung and unheard? The workers are driving around here as if it is a race track and there are all african by my count. The vehicles have state plates but i don't have any idea why there're here except driving around. This governor thinks the same as mayor of Detroit. Fyi that's not good

"Maryland is a clean toilet, juveniles need more resources instead of jail time after committing felonies, and I could care less about anybody else's safety but mine." There's what he said in a nutshell.

It's embarrassing to watch this governor. He sounds as if it's his first day in Maryland.

Obviously, he believes "enough" is simply blaming taxpayers instead of drug addicts/gangsters who could not care less about sending their awful gangster type children to public schools is fine.
