In today's video, I am running my combine and I just love everything about harvest. Dad is also in the field with his combine and Arvid is driving our third combine. Dad gets a bit confused with which row he is picking up! He is hilarious on the radio! Dad asked me to go and drive the tandem semi-truck BY MYSELF!! I am so excited. Of course, I hope you laugh when you watch me try to figure out how to get the tandem truck towards the end of the video. Thank you for watching my video!

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am an 18-year-old 4th-generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.

😂😂 That look on your face is priceless when that leaped forward. Some greatest truckers got their trainin on a field somewhere in the U.S.A. Keep on learnin the way the truck reacts and before you know it your on you're own goin down the highway with a loaded grain trailer. Watch out for others! They might not be watchin out for you. There's an idea for you, Kate. Find a farmer that still has a cabless combine, and spend the day harvesting wheat, soybeans, corn, etc. Your dad was right; you'll fully appreciate how nice it is having modern combines after a day of getting dust, chaff and other things dumped on you all day. Makes you appreciate a nice hot bath afterwards :)

combines with cabs are nice. when I was a teenager , I worked on my great uncles farm several years . We had a pull combine , my great uncle(s) and great grandfather harvested their grain with scythes when they were teenagers. Times sure have changed

Your thumbnails are literally hilarious. Good job being boss lady. Since I’m the oldest I have a special role. My mom and dad say my part in this family is super special. Like my dad was so insensitive to TJ, dad and his big bro grew up to fight and everything was about who is tougher. But it was so hard for my uncle and he became an alcoholic and died, cuz my dad started beating him up instead of being beat up and my dad feels real bad even now.
My aunt used to pick on my dad and uncle cuz she was the oldest and she would order them around. She always told them to get her water so they dipped it out of the toilet. My grandpa, super gentle Ben as he was, always had to fly and was gone, and my grandma who I never knew cuz she died from smoking cigs tried to make everyone tough. So I know stuff and can figure stuff out and had to tell my dad stop trying to make TJ tough. He is tough and tough doesn’t have to be mean. He totally went WHOA and got it so I have to give him credit. TJ is in my high school now and he’s starting on varsity football and every girl loves him.
Like I pick up on stuff. My sister was really off the wall about stuff and crazy about boys even when she was 8, and I kept telling my mom and dad she’s crazy, and my dad would just say that his girls were perfectly perfect and God made us all unique and special, but Avigail was actually suffering from hormones and had to be put on blockers and she’s practically normal now.
We’re females and teenagers and r super important. Even when my mom was getting sick I was the one who noticed. My dad took me off to the side and said she’s prob drinking a little wine to get through the day cuz he noticed it 2. NO WAY and now we know and are doing good and she has the best doctors in the world.
We can’t let anyone tell us to be quiet. We have an important voice in this world. Our role is super important. My mom and dad go flying or on motorcycle rides, on picnics, and I can keep this whole family together. My grandma and grandpa are close but I’ve. Ever had to go get help yet. Even when Ben was choking.
I think we r a lot alike only I’m kinda a spaz as my dad says. Thank you for teaching the world about our kind of people.

We should all take a moment to appreciate that up until a couple hundred years ago, harvesting, threshing and winnowing of grain was a very laborious SET of jobs, but these combines do it all at once. Incredible labor and time savings.

@@KatesAg Sadly, there are evil people trying to destroy the refineries so that there won't be any diesel, then you won't have to imagine what doing things with horses and by-hand would be like anymore.
