Hook: Saltwater size 8-1/0
Weight: bead chain-dumbbell eyes
Tail: Craft fur
Antenna: Crystal flash
Eyes: Burnt mono
Rostrum: Rabbit fur
Legs: silli legs
Body: Dubbed craft fur
Weed guard: hard nylon

Really interesting coloration. I can't say I've ever seen a shrimp that color but I see the appeal for the fish. All the best, Sean

Sean Mooney in the tropics it's not uncommon for mantis shrimp to be darker depending on the colour of the bottom substrate where they live. We observed a lot of shrimps like this in Okinawa last year

Very nice light weight pattern.Love the use of rubber legs on this one. I've tied up half a dozen of the carrot cake in tan and olive and one in black. I'm going to do up some of the Veverka's to compliment my shrimp/craw offerings. I really think for warmwater these will perform well in finesse fishing situations. Thanks for sharing!
