Our MK4 has leaked coolant since almost new from various locations. (Silly plastic coolant parts, factory water pump, etc.) I've replaced a lot of parts, but just top if off twice/year. It's now twenty years old. :-)

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same. I just had a part "fixed" but a few days after it was done, the level dropped and it leaked again. I'm just keeping an eye on it regularly. Car has never overheated. Car is 25 years old, so this kind of thing is kind of expected.

Do you have a mk4 playlist I really have enjoyed watching a few of your videos. I think the other ones I was watching from you was suspension and rear axle work
I just did complete suspension and breaks front and back with rear suspension and bushings as well

What engine code is your Golf 2.0? For example: AUM,AZJ, AZG etc
I’m having a same issues on coolant leak and it’s a hell of a mystery to find what causes the leak in the first place!
