the quest for getting my first deer kill with trad bow continues. so wild how a deer can duck so much even at 12 yards. if you want a challenge hunt with a Trad bow. it's very humbling. God is great not gonna give up let's keep pushing

GREAT tip on shortening the bridge and dropping the tether down for the recurve. Will DEFINITELY practice that this spring and summer with my longbow. Thanks and God bless!

Shot the biggest buck of my life the same way…. October 1st of ‘92… Nov. 15 a friend harvested it with a gun…1st day of bow in Michigan for me and 1st day of gun for my friend… the brisket is a bleeder but not a death sentence- thanks for posting.

They are fast , i took my first this year , 7 yards on the ground , she dropped turned rt hit her base of the skull , luckily she went to the ground and quickly finished her w follow up shot , its tough w the stick bow

Looks like your arrows are too stiff. That black streak on your cresting indicates contact with shelf. Keep grinding it’ll happen. God bless.

Yes still tinkering... actually stopped shooting that bow got a kodiak that's 60 pounds and the same arrow is flying awesome... thanks man I appreciate it in the tree as we speak :) 5 days left

I put the tip of a pen on your arrow at impact and then moved the footage back to where the deer was standing before your shot. My pen tip was right in front of her brisket. Looks like it was going to be a miss and she ducked into your arrow.

Ya hard to say I have replayed it and replayed it on slow motion... looks very level with the scapula either way ya super hard hunting with a Trad bow... just gotta keep trying and practice more and more. Thanks for the watch and the love. Your channel looks rad man im gonna sub
