Not a clue about amps Dave, but love my live music and Ransom is up there on top of my list.
Seeing the band on Saturday February 4th at The Oak Pub, Kingston.
Get there if you can everyone , even if you music fans haven't a clue about amps.............. like me.
It's gonna be a great night. 👍🎉👍
Never thought of that..👍
Making Popcorn? :)
My first thoughts was the power caps breaking down as they're probably at that age. When they're on the way out they sound very similar. Glad it was an easy fix Dave.
Yes me too, still might be worth swapping them out :)
@@DaveBarlowGuitar Yeah about 20/30 years they're about done depending on whether they've had power going through them regularly.
I have a Supro 1606. Was changing guitar strings and when I turned on the amp to tune the strings the amp began to have problems. It warms up and works normal but after a few minutes of moderate volume (through the guitar volume control) the amp volume cuts out completely and if volume comes back it plays very low. Thanks for any help.
P.s. I haven't had any problems with the amp prior to this problem. Amp is not played very often, stored in a safe dry place. The strings were wildly out of tune btw as they were just put on.
Thanks again.
What's that's crazy... My Marshall makes a very low noise like tik tick tick tok tic tok tick ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz and stops.. then starts again for a few seconds and stops.
I can hear like electricity noise .. like when electricity came out of the power cord from the streets.. zz. zzzz. zz .z .zz .zźzz.
Please any help will guides me to not take my amp to the same company again and save $500.
