- Groove and Flow are two terms used allot in the Hip Hop dance community. But for some reason, what these terms mean and how these are expressed in our dance is not clear for everybody.

What is groove:
1. Groove comes from an authentic feeling
2. Staying in the groove means stayin with the pace and vibe/character of the music.
3. To be groovy means to expres the pace and rhythms through feeling.
4.Grooves in jazz are created through connection between the Bass and the Drum.
5. Groove is a repetetive motion to the rhythm of the music.
What is flow?
1.Flow is the transition from one place to another. Or the transition from one movement to another.
2.Flow is the continuation of movement inside of the body without stops.
3. Flow can be used as another word for someone personal style.
4. Flow can mean the connection within the music.
5. Flow is continious motion to the harmony of the music.

I dance since 11 years but I started with Breakdance and hiphop for about 2 years ago. I learned hiphop by myself.I know how to move. Many Friends told me that they like the way I move.I don't have problems to dance a Choreographie with a group in Public or something else that's why I work in the danceschool as a hiphop trainer. I started with hiphop Freestyle one year ago. Even when I want to dance in a battle I have a blockade. I have anxiety...I don't know why. When I'm alone I can dance free like..feel free..do you know what I mean. How can I take off the fear to dance freestyle in public without a blockade? And I don't get why I can dance a Choreographie in public but can't dance freestyle in public..
And by the way..I'm the girl from boty16..do you know what I mean and who I am?
