I met the Band in 2003. My childhood friends from Sworn Enemy were touring with them. They are a class act and play awesome music. One of my fav bands of all time!

Man, I can't believe Howard Jones left the band, his voice was so amazing and beautiful. Thumbs up if you think and wish Howard should have stayed with the band.

I will confirm that one Yes Howard did leave the band because of his difficulties dealing with his diabetes. All in all Jesse Leach is back and the band will continue and is touring at this moment but that doesn't mean Howard is gone forever who knows he might come back he might not but still I love Killswitch Engage.
Killswitch Engage is simply the best metal I've ever heard. Melodic and easy to listen to, and they have amazing lyrics.
I saw them at the 08 mayhem fest. Will never forget it.

In this world the color of someones skin is not what matters, its the size of their heart. If all you see is the superficial aspects of life then you are truly missing the point of it. I love this band, I can feel what they feel when they sing these lyrics, and if you can't relate to them or can't appreciate them for who they are, then find another band to listen to.

@TheBuckyHD Yes he is black, His name is Howard Jones. He wasn't always the singer for KsE. Howard joined in 2004. before him was Jesse Leach. He sang the ever popular "My last Serenade" for the band.

i like both of KsE's vocalists in different ways. I think that Howard was awesome on the stage and he has amazing clean vocals while jesse has uncredibly and godly screams :)

I actually started listening to KSE because of Howard too! His voice was really amazing with those clean notes, he just nailed them! I love that. I love singing in that kind of way too. Also, I wanted to tell people that Howard left due to personal problems. He got type 2 diabetes. For Howard it must be really hard since he has to adapt to a new condition, medication and diet. He said it was because of the band and his fans he managed to continue for so long : ) Just thought I'd tell you all..

Nah, Jesse is back. I just saw them on the 7th with the Trespass America tour. Sounded great.

But he finds life is worth living, and thats what the water was all about. Most metal uses some very odd metaphors. I know ive written and performed song sthat some people made no sense till i explained it to them.

I agree. At first I liked Jesse better. Then I listened to the two side-by-side and I feel that Howard has a smoother vocal style and Jesse has a more hardcore style. I love them both equally and that's that in my opinion.

People are acting like it's the end of Killswitch....were you kids not around when their demo dropped? Or Alive or Just Breathing? They were fucking amazing then with Jesse. They were fucking amazing with Howard. Yeah it's sad he's leaving =/ But at least we know vocals are being left in good hands. I cannot say one vocalist is better than the other. They're both extremely talented. Let's all be glad that KSE is keeping at it and not giving up on their fans :')
