    So weird watching this in 2020 when the commentators don’t even notice Matt Fraser back then haha.

      @Farrahcourtney Před 2 lety +1

      Ikr! I just finished the 2020 and came to watch Fraser’s beginnings…he was rarely mentioned this entire game. Which I understand because he literally just started, but like…wow…who knew…and little did they know

    so what was Neal Maddox doing differently? I read that he was lifting the sled and they banned that method in the future hats but it looked normal to me

    54:55 "soccer players need their legs for a full 60 minutes" ??? They play 45 minute halves, for a total of 90 minutes, and I've never seen a soccer player push a sled.

      Its not uncommon actually, but yea I don't know y he said that

    Yes, if you got bad lane you will have really slow time. With this event the more dead patches of grass in the lane the faster you will go. Greener gras will slow you down. It makes huge difference in certain sections of a field when pushing or pulling a sled. #inequality

    Why do you need arrow dynamics in pushing a sled

      1. It’s aesthetics. They wanted it to look like a race car I believe. 2. Aerodynamics*

    This is not body building... and every athlete is tested for any drugs including steroids... this is pure fitness

      @himelodykek Před 10 lety +18

      haha you're very funny if you think most of these guys and girls are not on steroids, some girls look more jacked than the men, what a mystery :)

    • @allstarDB35
      @allstarDB35 Před 10 lety +11

      You realize that its pretty easy to get around drug testing right? The people who get caught taking stuff, just had a terrible protocol when it comes to cycling.

    • @allstarDB35
      @allstarDB35 Před 10 lety +1

      Pedro Gonzalez Solid response. Were not saying every single one of them is on gear, but there is a high probability that some of them are. With the amount of money that can be won, people are going to try to cheat the system.

    • @himelodykek
      @himelodykek Před 10 lety +2

      Connor Fletcher
      top 3 females and top 3 males are all 100% on gear, we can be sure about that :) not to say that all the athletes that got to the games (not regionals) are on stuff, although I believe the majority of the ones that got to the games are on.

    • @allstarDB35
      @allstarDB35 Před 10 lety +1

      himelodykek Honestly we cant be sure about any of it. Are there people i see who i can go "chances are theyre on gear" yeah there are. But unless they test positive or admit to it then we cant be sure.

    Why do almost all the girls have bruises on their shoulders? Near the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. Best scene that illustrates this is @ 55:05... Is it due to a certain lift that is in the games?

    • @yiani31
      @yiani31 Před 9 lety +2

      scott brayall I think it's from event 1, "the beach", where they had to do thrusters with sandy kettlebells

    • @scottbrayall7864
      @scottbrayall7864 Před 9 lety

      Yea, I would agree, I just watched the Beach Event and they were all good and then made a comment about the abrasive bells in the sand. Thanks for the info

    95 lbs? That is light. It looks like it has more contact area than some sleds, which would make it more challenging to push.

    Commentator celebrating the design of a crappy piece. It's too heavy on the back where the athletes are pushing and too light on the front. Well Designed Rogue.. lol.
