@MapedMod I mean the game is partially set in the east indies with a strong Asian presence there, the 3rd season features a new Asian warlord and is called 'In the dragons wake'
So I don't think it's just to appeal to Chinese players, it's thematically relevant.
Also Chinese players aren't the only ones that like dragons, they existed in various cultures mythology 🤔 Also they are cool AF and I look forward to shooting it with my cannons

Honestly for future updates I love the first ever showcased graphics to return as I think this will get players excited to return and I would love to see actual big ships to come with 30 or 40 canons which is another thing which would be amazing.
For fleet management I would love to see the ability to assign crew members to some of our existing ships and add them to a fleet we can use as a group of ships in solo raids and certain events. This way I can command a group of ships that sail with me.
For immersion those ships may could raid nearby settlements or take out ships.
I don't think this comment will be read by the staff but I give it a try regardless.
Bit of feedback for the team regarding previous Insider Builds I played at.
I would really recommend to revert the way ship combat and boarding works back to the last insider build before the first official playtest.
Back then I could not get back into Black Flags gameplay simply because of how good Skull and Bones felt and that part of the game feel is completely gone now and it would be lovely to see it return.
Another thing I recommend based on previous tests and gameplay is to add a bit more depth to the animations and physics on the ship, with the water and how the weapons work and crew interacts with the ship, these things as well as for example some visual upgrades to ship fights where parts of the ship get visually destroyed and once repaired will leave a repaired view will for players like myself who play the game actively everyday add that immersion we are looking for.
Overall I think that the updates go in a nice direction and that the things I mentioned could really help the game in a positive way!
S&B needs more activities for pirates in st-Anne/Telok Pejarah. Exemple dice games, drinking challenge, arm wrestling, Shooting range between players/pirates and brothel 😂

@@idarkstarx6939 No they don't. I play the game. The ships you assign to specific places is not physically there in the game to guard the location or anything. It's an invisible system that automates and makes easy the process of garnering Pieces of Eight
Edit: simply put, lets say the ship assigned has a capacity of 100 Po8, then, whenever the manufactory gets at least 100 Po8, a timer of like 10 min will start, indicating that the Po8 are being delivered. Once the timer is over, you immediately receive 100 Po8.
No there isn't. I went in a settlement where I assigned the ship to check it
When will there be a community tab to search for players doing activities together or a clan system? Would be a Big improvement to do stuff with players instead of doing it solo or when the chat is disabled again

Black flag ship upgrades actually made sense and changed the ship in multiple ways but yet skull and bones just adds more perks?

@scrappydoo8761 Sea of Thieves suffered the same hate initially and a year later it was crushing it. Besides the pirates aesthetic that ends the similarities between the games, but that guy is right, in a year if the devs keep feeding it (as Ubi tends to do) the game will grab attention. It's got great bones.

@tyler2102 idk if I agree with that, you can turn pvp off, and it just add another risk to boarding that would have been there in real lift. Team up with some friends who can pull security or board too and cut them down faster
@@jacobclark7950 then you don’t understand the game at all. When you’re surrounded by ships are they supposed to just sit around for 5 minutes while you have a sword fight on someone’s else’s ship ? What about when you’re in a group and someone boards the boss, are the rest of the players supposed to just float about for 5 minutes while we wait to see if one player wins a sword fight ? It’s a naval combat game. All you screaming for sword fights and boarding don’t even seem to understand what type of game this is.

Would be far more fun if you'd race against other players directly and could bump each other instead of just aiming for the best time. Also wind wouldn't be do frustrating then, since all players had the same conditions and your goal is not to have the best record but to just beat the other players.

Ubisoft, we need bigger ships. And we need more than 1 per season. Right now, only having 1 new playstyle per 100 days is garbage, the game stagnates quickly as a result. Please stop giving us small ships, hostile factions already have much larger ships, so the work is already done, just let us use them too

Please get rid of sailing against the wind. Very best make it balanced. Why do I basically stop yet others race up on me with the same wind against them? It’s not because their water flasks or anything. The wind kills this game.
