It's sort of like the old school plastic lanyards we used to make in summer camp.

I loved your video because you showed how to make a tug toy with both the loop and straight tugs! Your directions were clear and since I also crochet, I'll be checking out your crochet videos, too. Love the toy!!!

Absolutely great instructions. Very clear, very thorough. No need to apologize so much! This was one of the best tutorials on this kind of square knot dog toy that I've watched. Thank you!

Love this design! I've been making just straight tug toys so this new design was fun to make! There is a CZcams video that shows how to cut a t-shirt so you get one long string instead of cutting it into a bunch of strips. That helped get strings 110" long.

Personally I've used polar fleece . It won't fray and your dog won't choke on stray threads

I don't know if you have ever done those key rings with those colored plastic laces. If you have, hold this project like those it might make it less awkward holding it.

    • @ACraftyConcept

I used t shirt yarn that was store-bought, but you can knot the ends together or even sew them together if you are a sewer :)

I realize this comment is 2 years old, but in case anyone new comes along and has the same question, this video shows how to cut up a t-shirt into one long string. Then you can make the long strands. The larger the t-shirt, the longer the string. czcams.com/video/OGzFC-0Yj3o/video.html&ab_channel=MomEberhard

Im not sure but its worth a try! If you see the dog taring it up easily though I wouldn't let them have it, they could swallow the pieces and get sick :(
