    Man cmon there's 0% chance you'd give up ASP or Edvinsson for RFA signing rights

    @jamesreed2475 Před 9 dny +6

    Not worth it. I really like Necas and he plays well vs the Wings like every time. Really not giving up that potential top 4 of Seider, Walman, ASP and Edvinson. Thats our strong future top 4. Id give Bergerren and picks.

  • @dj4aces
    @dj4aces Před 9 dny +8

    I think most of us always assumed Stevie was kicking those tires. He wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't. What would merit an overpay is whether the player (Necas, or anyone else, for that matter) can perform and can significantly improve our team. I think he *can* improve the Wings, but as has been said, I'm not sure Necas merited an overpay.

      That's a telltale sign kane is not coming back. it means they have extra cap to spend. They wouldnt have cap for both necas and kane.

    • @yourfate92
      @yourfate92 Před 9 dny

      so if they are trying to trade for him......that cap is coming from somewhere. The number one suspect......kane is gone. Cause its reported kane wants like 5+ million a year for 3 years.

  • @jaredgreen9934
    @jaredgreen9934 Před 9 dny +2

    Yzerman isn't giving up a premium prospect(Edvinsson/ ASP) for Necas. It makes zero sense to give up a potential future star defenseman that will be cost controlled for an expensive contract. It would be the opposite move of the Hronek trade.

  • @nicksmith8141
    @nicksmith8141 Před 9 dny +1

    Depends on the price Yzerman is willing to pay. I don't see him giving up Edvinsson or ASP. Berggren yes, bottom 6 roster player like Fabbri yes 1st and 2nd round pick possibly.However I don't think that gets a deal done here.

    • @yourfate92

      @yourfate92 Před 9 dny

      it could be rumors.....however if its actually true and he is trying to trade for him. Then yeah, i say its pretty obvious kane is gone then. hes asking for like 5m a year for 3 years. maybe they already know kanes leaving who knows.

    Simone is the top prospect with Detroit. Throw another name out you’re looking at like Mazure Bergen and a third. and that is way too expensive. Let that dude go play somewhere else. Keep all our prospects and let them cook at home.

      @vernonhowell4070 Před 9 dny

      @@garyvandecar2580 lol. If the prospect pool is so good why do you have so many old bottom 6 players all over your roster. Raymond is on par with Necas in most mentally sane ppls opinions. Raymond doesn’t even know the playoffs exist while Necas has been on runs already. Detroit fans are always just internet nerds who think 4th round draft picks have value.

    • @garyvandecar2580
      @garyvandecar2580 Před 9 dny

      @@vernonhowell4070 Because most aren't NHL ready yet and Yzerman is just buying time with some vets. There will be more youngsters on the roster this upcoming season. And saying that Necas is on par with Raymond is totally delusional thinking. Raymond is only 60 points away from tying this years total points in 4 years of what it took Necas to do in 7 years. Ha Ha Ha yeah that's why Carolina continues to choke in the playoffs. The Canes are a joke and not even close to being a cup contender and that's just pure fact. Florida and Tampa will continue to own them for the foreseeable future.

    I think he gets 7-8M for long term or 5-6M for under 3yr contract. I rarely watch Canes games so I don't know how they used him, but in the IHWC he looked pretty good. Wings woulld be great for him since they have new EuroMafia in making with Seider and Raymond.
