Man cmon there's 0% chance you'd give up ASP or Edvinsson for RFA signing rights
Couldn’t agree more. No chance I’d ship either of those guys away.
I'd trade ASP all day. He is way overrated, but I wouldn't move Edvinsson as he is ready now
Not worth it. I really like Necas and he plays well vs the Wings like every time. Really not giving up that potential top 4 of Seider, Walman, ASP and Edvinson. Thats our strong future top 4. Id give Bergerren and picks.
I think most of us always assumed Stevie was kicking those tires. He wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't. What would merit an overpay is whether the player (Necas, or anyone else, for that matter) can perform and can significantly improve our team. I think he *can* improve the Wings, but as has been said, I'm not sure Necas merited an overpay.
That's a telltale sign kane is not coming back. it means they have extra cap to spend. They wouldnt have cap for both necas and kane.
so if they are trying to trade for him......that cap is coming from somewhere. The number one suspect......kane is gone. Cause its reported kane wants like 5+ million a year for 3 years.
No, you don't trade ASP
That would be insane
The right answer is that Ken Holland should have picked Necas over Rasmussen 😂
who’s had more success oilers or carolina? don’t need necas lol
Rasmussen is a big bust so tired of his lack of productivity and he does the routine every game he gives the puck away way to much his skills are over rated BT
@CheestosParade watching ras be mid is just so old bro when he's playing bad it gives me ptsd.
Don't give away promising prospects for someone who might work out. Don't be like Ken Holland!!!
Yzerman isn't giving up a premium prospect(Edvinsson/ ASP) for Necas. It makes zero sense to give up a potential future star defenseman that will be cost controlled for an expensive contract. It would be the opposite move of the Hronek trade.
Depends on the price Yzerman is willing to pay. I don't see him giving up Edvinsson or ASP. Berggren yes, bottom 6 roster player like Fabbri yes 1st and 2nd round pick possibly. However I don't think that gets a deal done here.
i think necas would be a great fit with the wings the only thing is i don’t know if they will be able/wiling to give carolina what they want in return for him
if its true.....thats a telltale sign kane will be not resigning. They wouldnt have cap for both kane and necas.
it could be rumors.....however if its actually true and he is trying to trade for him. Then yeah, i say its pretty obvious kane is gone then. hes asking for like 5m a year for 3 years. maybe they already know kanes leaving who knows.
Hard pass on trading Edvinsson or ASP for Necas.
Necas for Jeff Petry 1 for 1... done deal
Robbie fabrie, Ollie Matta and 2025 3rd moving to second if wings make the playoffs
I'm not overpaying unless your name is mcdavid, bedard, or makar
Berggren, Gibson, 25 1st
Necas 24 7th
We should trade Seider, Raymond, and 5 1st round picks. Mortgage everything 😆 🤣 😂
Simone is the top prospect with Detroit. Throw another name out you’re looking at like Mazure Bergen and a third. and that is way too expensive. Let that dude go play somewhere else. Keep all our prospects and let them cook at home.
Hurricanes want players to help them win right now and Detroit doesn’t have those players right now
If we trade asp or ed I might have to change fan bases
Stop talking about the redwings man you literally are saying that Steve Yzerman is OK at trades, dude steals people all the time. What are you talking about man stick with the Canucks and the canadiens
If the price is Ed or Asp .. lmao ..nope .
Be stupid just play the prospects and let them get experience or not going anywhere and you don’t trade Edvinson or ASP if he is Elite why trade him.!!!
berggren and a 3rd rd pick that moves to a 2nd if detroit makes the playoffs for necas or a 4th rd pich that moves to a 3rd
An AHl player for a full time NHL player and a bunch of mean nothing picks. Never happening.
Detroit doesn’t have the assets it would take to get a guy like Necas. Only chance would be to offer sheet him.
@@garyvandecar2580 lol. If the prospect pool is so good why do you have so many old bottom 6 players all over your roster. Raymond is on par with Necas in most mentally sane ppls opinions. Raymond doesn’t even know the playoffs exist while Necas has been on runs already. Detroit fans are always just internet nerds who think 4th round draft picks have value.
@@vernonhowell4070 Because most aren't NHL ready yet and Yzerman is just buying time with some vets. There will be more youngsters on the roster this upcoming season. And saying that Necas is on par with Raymond is totally delusional thinking. Raymond is only 60 points away from tying this years total points in 4 years of what it took Necas to do in 7 years. Ha Ha Ha yeah that's why Carolina continues to choke in the playoffs. The Canes are a joke and not even close to being a cup contender and that's just pure fact. Florida and Tampa will continue to own them for the foreseeable future.
@@vernonhowell4070it's cuz Stevie-Y fleeces them that way
.. 😂
@@vernonhowell4070 also that whole Detroit fans are nerds thing seemed forced.. it's when ya read or look at something and you automatically feel something's off😅
Hard pass. No way is he worth mortgaging our future projects.
as a canes fan i actually wouldn’t mind a trade involving debrincat for necas i think that could be beneficial for both parties
Cat isn’t leaving Detroit
A good idea, to spice up the conversation. It probably won't happen.
johnathan long is a bum lol
this is the worst video you ever made... there is no trade possible here not even close ... just talking out the arse it seems this week
Hard pass.
Zegras> Necas
The potential is there. But will Trevor actualize it?
I think he gets 7-8M for long term or 5-6M for under 3yr contract. I rarely watch Canes games so I don't know how they used him, but in the IHWC he looked pretty good. Wings woulld be great for him since they have new EuroMafia in making with Seider and Raymond.
