Josh Colvard lol I tried this and used all kinds of wrong colors and mu roommate said that psychotrist can see your paint and priscribe you medication for depression....that really hurted me and funny at the same time. Lol I will try again

your string technique reminds me of some designs I did for college 2 years ago with painters tape. But I like the imperfection you get when using a string. And how this method let's you play more with spacing and how many times repeated ECT.
It's all about the random individuality of each and every line. Kinda like snowflakes. Thanks for the support and watching!

There was a drawing program four Windows 94 with a line function and you would just move it back and forth and get this exact effect. Pretty cool.

I like the idea and it came out pretty well. I feel as though one or two things could have been added for subject matter in the painting. At first my thoughts were "Oh that's a pretty cool idea." and then they went to "Oh boy more lines and now they are crossing." Great idea all in all and it looks nice.

Would be grateful if you could help .. How is the white mixture made in order to soak the string in ? What are the solvents you are using ?
The movement of the camera and the background music is kinda creepy. But still, great technique 😊
when u work do u have an image already in your head or do u come up as u go? and also whats the reason for the red line?
Many times I start with an idea but about 80% of the time it goes off the rails and into something else. The single colored line in any Life Lines paintings signifies you, me or anyone as an individual shining light amoungst all.
is that oil paints? we use acrylics in school which dry too fast sometimes. But I don't think the white effect will stay white if I did it with acrylics. it tends to not show up over darker colors. I could experiment with black instead. or lighter colors underneath.
No, I only use acrylic paints. Definitely using a dark background to make lighter colors pop on top is a good way to go. Thanks for watching!
Embrace The Matrix I need to experiment more with blending a color into another. I'm such a beginner to using brush strokes. And I need to explore with a larger brush.
I personally prefer using larger brushes and I mean LARGE. I am going to do a video about some of my favorite brushes and whatnot once I get settled again after my move.

Loved it! BUT the shaking camera made me queasy. Had to keep stopping and fast forwarding.
