Late comment but the reason Osvald didn't counterattack at @17:29 is because he wasn't equipped with a sub job that gives sword proficiency. Vengeful blade requires the character to have a sword equipped to make the counterattack.

Not the job I thought you were going to talk about from the thumbnail, but I do love the Arcanist! My preference is to put it on Partitio, so that he can use Diffusion for party-wide Rest (heal/SP regain/status removal) and Sidestep (cheese, but it works when you want to push through)! Seal of Diffusion is really what opens this class up to most any character, each in their own ways.

What’s fun is that Seal of Diffusion ALSO works with Hikari’s learned skills. So you can use something like Divine Protection and give the entire party Invincibility. 😊
Agnea could then extend that for them with her Latent Power + Song of Hope, right?

I feel like the SP saver on Conjurer isn't talked about enough. While the arcanist instantly made Partitio even more broken, the sp saver on Hikari is just 👌🏿
About Seal of Inversion, there's also a really insane accessory that has +120 physical and elemental attack, but gives you a debuff in those stats for the start of battle. Inverting them at combat start does use up one BP, but with Partitio or Castti to keep BP up, you get the most OP accessory in the game in terms of pure offense.
its called "Blessing in Disguise" its an accessory i believe you can two of those though late game sidequests
I think it would be pretty OP if you combine Reflective Barrier and Seal of Eternity
I've been eyeing this class for Osvald since I started the game but after watching the video I'm super torn between slapping it on him or Agnea. Just seems like there's so much cool shit you can do with Arcanist.
Seal of diffusion is more or less the same as the dancer devine skill from the first game if I'm remembering right, which was useful for a lot of mildly game breaking combos for some hard bosses.
This class feels like a mix of Runeblade (with Transfer Rune, sincethats basically what Spell of Diffusion does), and a debuffing version of Starseer. Really likes this class but I feel it's best for someone with a ton of debuffs or buffs like Throne or Agnea
I have so far enjoyed it mostly on Partitio where he can rest the full team fully healing HP SP and removing status ailments
@@purplatypus7405 Then there's the fact that with Diffussion, he can give EVERYOEN sidestep. Made the boss under the wall insanely easy as a result, even underleveled.
I use agnea and the inventer class and use arkars coil combined with her latent ability to give everyone essentially a megaelixer filling up most of everyones BP fully filling health and sp... I use the combo when farming with our favorite beastling
I'm not gar enough yet, but since you can give reflect and side step to each character.... could you theoretically make them all immune to damage forever? Are those considered buffs? Is this what the passive to "keep buffs after death is for!?" Coild you theoretically kill the final boss at level 1 with these skills!?
Hello man i love ur videos ! Can u show what’s the best secondary jobs for each characters please i want ur opinion and details ! I think on OCT 2 u can make so much more fun jobs & combos with all characters than the OCT 1 its insane !
I am working on that for sure! So many video to release so little time to do it all. I will go through each character and give a full breakdown of what builds they can have
You could use the dodge ability skill and make it permanent, you will never get hit. You could try that with partitio to see how it works and it can help you with the 1 single character clearing the game series you doing.
I don't think that works as it's not a set amount of turns but a set amount of triggers

Anyone else absolutely maxing characters as much as possible before even attempting to play the story?... I'm level 65 with 6 characters and haven't even "begun" the game lol
Pretty sure you can also make the reflective veil and sidestep permanent which just stops the enemies from being able to do any damage to you
It so far has not worked on abilities that have a set number of uses but it's worth testing out
Cant you theoreticly become invincible to everything when you give this class to Partitio.
Haven't tried it but through this class alone you can give side step to everyone. Pair that with Agnes and you can give his magic reflect to everyone right? So theoreticly you are now completly invincible.

Does Seal of Diffusion work with Hikari's Learned Skills? Idk what all skills he has available from those, but I could imagine some powerful AoE buffs from that combo...
One good application with Hikari and Seal of Diffusion is using a party-wide Vengeful Blade against enemies that use physical attacks.

Do you know why the ladder at 2:22 isn't present for some people? Just got to the island, and I am encountering the problem of (1) the ladder not being there, and (2) the island isn't being re-named "Lost Isle" it is instead just "???" Is there a side quest or lore thing that needs to be read before coming here??

I cannot find anywhere that will tell me, can you only put seal of diffusion on the character that has Arcanist equipped, or can you put it on another character.
Example: Throne is Arcanist, Hikari is Conjurer. Can Throne put Seal of Diffusion on Hikari?
I don't remember. You should be able to find out pretty quick once you unlock it and test it though
@@purplatypus7405 Finally got far enough in the game to unlock Arcanist. You cannot put the Seal of Diffusion on another traveler.
It’s not late game 😅 to get the boat just get the merchant and 100,000 leaves u can get get it early if u want but u wanna be leveled up because the seas is wow lol
So my thought is using Alephan's (scholar divine skill) then seal of eternity to make an infinite amount of 3x hitting spells?
Yes that is possible from what I can tell and super strong. I'll need to try that and lots of other combinations
Alephan is not a turn based skill tho so im not quite sure about that
is Divine Protection that Hikari learn from the Cleric duel works with Seal of Eternity? that's gonna be broken if that last indefinitely you know
Very possible. It works with the Cleric devine ability so a character can take two turns every turn and you can slowly apply this to all your characters if you wanted. So This ability seems made to be broken
sadly it dose not, but you kan use dancers divine and then lock the aoe buff on hikari. then spam divine protection rest of the match. Get the sp reduction passive from the last hidden class, since divine protection cost 100sp
no need for Arcanist. What you need is Agnea's Dancer Divine Skill on Hikari. Divine Protection is not a self-buff, but rather a targeted skill. You can use the Sealtige buff on Hikari though using the Arcanist Divine Skill.

Eternity wont work on that because that lasts for a set number of uses not a number of turns

Sounds expensive but yeah as long as you can get through the boss no issues how.
@@sethswisher3958 Hired Help hits ridiculously Hard in this games and can easily cheese the boss you just need to be able to survive and get about 3 of them off on it. And breaking the boss is easy. I Recommend 2 merchants and Hikari and a healer

I finally beat Scourge of the sea and got this class. It was a very stressful fight.
My team was:
Osvald secondary job Cleric
Temenos secondary job Scholar
Agnea secondary job Inventor with all skills.
Hikari secondary job Armsmaster.
My character levels were 54-40.
I use Partitio as Inventor, max BP+catapult can insta kill any mobs right at the start. Not very good for bossing but w.e its OP af
No counter because they dont have swords equipped maybe?

Hey, just wanted to ask, has anyone found a renewable source of nuts yet ?
Cause i'd like maxing one of the two stats with nuts to then equal the other one so Hikari has a huge stat bonus

Ive grinded about 2 hours tonight because im trying to max out Ochette, and from the 20 ish caits ive gotten, none dropped another nut.
So i have no idea if regular fights can drop multiple or if its a one time thing
I'll still be looking in my free time for ways to get some. :)

So has time consuming as it may be, they are farmable through defeating octopuffs
Ive heard nuts are a 5% drop from both puffs and caits.
However I prefer the Physical jobs over the spell based ones ie Warmaster.
