many places and locations have their share of ghostly legends and stories and the island of Sodor is no exeption engines and railwaymen alike have some very interesting tales to tell and this volume covers but a few we hope you enjoy these stories as much as we did writing them

There are so many questions in this video
1. What year did Mary and how old she
2. Who told Edward about Mary
3. How did the villagers know about Mary's body in the well
4. Did Mary's husband get arrested after murdering her
I think for the second question, Edward is portrayed as being an old engine so he was probably around when Mary lived and died.

I know this is about a year old but if some budding train lover like me comes anlong and see this comment can you please explain something to me, The legend says that only a 'Kind' and 'Forgiving' soul can see Marys ghost. But if you know James you would know that he is the compleat opposite. Great Animation by the way. It shows of the good old areas where the original shows where made. Much better then the Animations they have these days.
she was behind Bocos train which to me means it either the guard or Boco she was revealing herself to and James was in the wrong place at the wrong time

The wording was "make herself known," that is slightly different from plainly seeing her, I think.

This volume "Sudrian Railway Ghosts" is brilliant. Interestingly, I've got a book called "Shadows in the Steam: The Haunted Railways of Britain". As well as ghostly passengers and haunted steam engines, it even mentions a ghost of a Deltic diesel locomotive!
We need to get a whole water tower of holy water in those tunnels and a bunch of crosses

Well, she separated Bear’s train. And Bear is a kind and forgiving soul. As to why James saw her, I’m not sure. But James can be forgiving, but it’s rather rare. But I suppose as long as you have that trait, she appears to you.

I don't know. For the scene where Edward confronts Mary, the music shouldn't be tense, or frightening. It should be emotional, and sad. :\

VPT2 Yes. These stories don’t have jump scares, which is the only scary thing horror movies today have going for them. But these have chilling storylines and great production value.
