I'm a newbie to models. Love watching your channel. Today i finished my first in more than 20 years, a classic. The Tiger 1. There is so much to learn, so I made it 'factory fresh'. First time using an airbrush aswell. The weathering effects you do are amazing! I will learn, step by step.
Look up NightShift on CZcams for tons of other techniqes :)
I should probably get farther in the video before I comment but the clips on the motor assemblies are called C clips. Also known as Jesus clips 'cus that's what you say when you launch one of them across the room.
LMAO happened to me not long ago... urgh
To be pedantic about it they are actually called circlips.
Really great to have visitors from China. Love the build.
The way you weather this stuff is pretty incredible.
Great work mate, looks amazing! I like what you have done with the weathering on it to make all the rust and grime stains pop out. Well done
I bought the non RC motorized one a while back but was too intimidated to build it, but thanks to stumbling across this I've worked through it, and with the help of the vid it's done and ready for paint. So cheers for making this vid. :)
Awesome weathering Amazing little kit
Dual motors with R/C, far out!!! So glad you demoed the R/C unit for us. That just might be my next kit......I really like it. You did a great job that is one of my favorites you built so far!!!
Tremendous Fun! Enjoy your hard work, Doc. Running them after completion ( a lot of folks say that with upgrades, they are never truly complete ) is the cherry on the ice cream sundae.
great build and you weather things so well!
Superb Build Andy. Loving that it’s an RC version. Thankyou. 👍🏻😎
That's great! I just ordered this model and look forward to building it in the same fashion. Thanks for your videos!
Just ordered this with a few other tamiya kits today, super excited
Very cool, great out come of the Tamiya mk4 r/c. great paint job, Andy. Thanks. Tamiya put out a 1/35 r/c Panther g a few years ago.
What a professionally produced video! Fantastic.
Great video and build.
Thank you andy. my father was in the tank regiment u.k. he would of appreciated that model it was 30 years before his service to her majesty's forces but he knew as a tank driver how dangerous it could be in side them machines. 👏 to all serving personal in the forces xxx
My father also drove a tank in the UK armed forces in WWII. He was driving what the British called the "Stuart" (American M5A1 light tank). He survived it alright...but the noise of the thing over about a year of service permanently damaged his hearing.
WOW Andy that works great! Nice Job!!!
Thanks mate great build you got me back into modeling after a 40 odd year break. Building a tiger early model at moment have got a kettlrgrad ibought about 35 ta 40 years ago when i feel i can do it justice again thanks hope you make it to Australia some time
Great build video and... I LOVE THIS MODEL! I bought the single-motor (non-RC) kit and built it recently, it was all easy, except I had a LOT of hassle with the external gear cover plates as seen at 12:30. The screws seemed to be too big for the holes and the tiny screwdriver supplied with kid was unable to drive them in and I used small pliers with extreme care. The single motor kit includes a lot of hardware intended for the RC kit, so I MIGHT have used the wrong screws... but overall... I LOVE MY Mk IV TANK!
Awesome job Andy, that tank is very cool.
Looks outstanding
One of your best vids. They’re all good mind
Oh my god I need this so bad in my life. The MkIV is my all time favorite tank, so when Tamiya came out with this kit it shot right to the top of my "gotta get it" list. :D
I don't understand why anyone would thumbs down any of this man's videos love it Andy going to get me one keep up the wonderful work
Great work Andy. Your depiction looks awesome.
Awesome Build Sir, Thanks for Sharing, God Bless All
Great work,as always.
Very nice Andy, what a great model
Son tus manos mágicas hermoso trabajo....es bello Andy ....gracias..
Great build and review
Very nice, I love the colour, very affective.
It's really good & beautiful~
I wish someone would come out with a generic 1/35 RC conversion kit so we could mobilize all our models!
Had this thought yesterday . They have tracked chassis . Maybe you could do a little work and build around it to make it look appropriate with the correct upper using a created model .
@@ditbag_JG tamiya also sells gear-motors that can be fitted into the 35th scale models
Great video, as always! I would have loved to get my hands on this kit... If only I had more spare time these days. The last remote controlled model I built was the ancient Tamiya 1/25 Jagdpanther back in the days.
Keep up the good work and I hope one day I'll have the honor to personally visit your shop and meet you.
Nice model love the mark 4
Awesome video !!!!
FANTASTIC!! NICE!!
Neat little kit, looks really good, perfect for indoors (not sure I'd paint the tracks if you're going to be running this a lot, though)!
Thank you for making this video it will be helpful to me very soon I am getting this roc tank next month Now it will be 101X easier
Hey andy, i do modelling without an airbrush, due to this, when i do painting the acrylic paint that i use tends to be quite thick, i found a way to get a smooth and even coat, i did this by watering down the acrylics and repeatatively doing layers, it managed to give a good and even coat.
Fantastic! I really enjoyed this one. I have got to build a WWI tank!
When the tank was all black, it looked so mean. awesome build.
Wish they did a full interior version. Too!
I always like to look at your reports. Greetings from Germany
Amazing
way to go ! you got Groupies now !
I've just finished the single motor version ,originally I was going to leave it as a runner ,(did the same as you and put the tracks on to see it run ,way cooler than it has any right to be :D) ,but I wanted to really weather it and mud it up! - either way the kit's really capture how crude the early tanks were! Oh and I still have nightmares about those road wheel's !!! ;)
Awesome!
Nice shop mate
Outstanding......and yes...got to get me one 😉
Very nice
It's even got its wee judder as tracks moving like you see the real one on old videos that's cool Haha!
very very nice modell
This brings me back to the old 1970s kits that were, pretty much, all motorized.
That's very cool.😎
Thank you for your video :)
You should start uploading more often. Keep up with the channel you have some great stuff going on here man.
Awesome
Great model and awesome build, as always. Thanks to sharing with us.
Yes, I think so too, as always great made by andy👍✌
I just bought it yesterday.
I would love to see a full interior version of a mark iv
Nice, i watched the entire video, an RC tank is an awsome idea to sell this tank wich is pretty bored compared by another ones like the renaul ft-17 or the a7v, but yes, the mark was the 1st tank so is ok if u want the first of the first...
The model has more mobility than the real one. Cool model to build.
I think the white and red markings on the front would look good .
whell great stuff like it best part the 3 viters you got at the beging and RC bit like it all looks good will see more
Spettacolo!
Almost as many views on this in 12 hours as the F1 cars had in days lol, I think this is mainly a military following here. :) thanks for posting these videos as always Andy, I appreciate the time spent behind each one
Tim Bryant I loved building that F1 lol But I usually hate doing cars
Cool
Thats different! Never come across one these yet with motors! Be cool lol
Great kit! When is it set to come out?
Andy,
I'm not sure if you have done a 1/35 scale UH-1 Huey yet and if you hadn't that would be a very cool build. If you do build the Huey you should add the firefly lights in the door. I'm not sure if they make the lights for it. The reason I'm asking is because my pop pop flew those over in Vietnam when he was there and then flew Huey's in the Delaware national guard for awhile. It would be great appreciated if you would consider it.
Thanks James
I love tanks
Zero point turning radius. LOVE IT! Great video. Btw, who were the three people at the opening of this video? That would be cool, having someone say " let's get started" on some of your videos! Well done!!
As a soldier and historian I love this tank and it's design. I would like to get this model but sadly I couldn't paint to save my life, and they don't sell painted RC models.
Hi Andie,
Another great build.
You really did the topic justice.
Love the channel.
Does your store ship to Australia please?
Thanks
When is this kit coming out in the USA? Also great build keep it up.
i wonder if you can make rubber like tracks by using flex spray
Awesome work, as always
Hi Andy, beautiful build. love your channel so much. Could you assemble some WWII asian armor, something like type 97, thanks
I wish i was at your hobby shop because here i can hardly found any model stores near me and i have to get my kit in Amazon or ebay and i hate the waiting time for it
Bonjour de la France ville dunkerque. .beau modèle. .toute fois ce n'est pas de la maquette plutôt un modèle réduit électrique. .cela reste une belle maquette😉😉
I built the single motor version of this kit. I loved it. I think I shared it a while ago in the facebook group. Great work Andy, love the vids, especially where you teach weathering. Also, any tips for when you have model fatigue and dont feel like working on kits, etc? Thanks, Albert from Mediocre Modelers on FB.
I always get paint fatigue.I could build everyday but if I don’t feel like it,painting isn’t happening. My wife always asks why I have 20 models fully built with no paint lol
sangat membantu ..... buat replik tank inggris waktu melawan turki utsmani di GAZA BATTLE
Nice build love the weathering as always. Do you use Testor dull coat as personal preference or it's just what work best with the panel liner?
Is the RC version of the kit generally released yet? I can't find it anywhere.
Do the canons rotate as well?
Top!!
Beautiful model, well done, built it myself shortly after seeing this video. What is the RC compartment you are using by the way? It's really impressive and i'd love to replicate it
Now if it only came with LED's and Shot sound effect speakers it'd be a brilliant kit, not saying it isn't already but it'd just be that little bit better with the extra's
Hi, very nice video, I like this Rc tamiya model, can you tell me the release date? So I can buy it as soon as possible! Thanks! Ciao!
Looks great keep it up very cool but is it to fast in terms of speed ?
great build love the Mk IV Male tank well most the early tanks. i wish there was 2 speeds. the speed you was using and a 1/35 scale speed. to show how slow they moved. but defo going to get one of them kits. oh did you get the files andy. ?
As the real tank moved at about 4 to 5 mph tops less cross country which is a scale speed of about 10 feet in a minute I wouldnt think the model would be too far off.
John Ludmon the model is way faster that the real tank in scale.
How about the caterham kit? WHEN WHEN WHEN? :D
why not use black primer instead of nato black? 2 birds with one stone
how do you change its batteries?
This model is probably faster than the real tank. And a lot more reliable.
That's a cool tank, how much for the kit
Great build Andy, don't blame you one bit with wanting to play with the finished tank, I would be too. When is it due for release? As I can't yet find it in the UK
Im not sure but very soon
How did you get the tank be able to be controlled via RC?
