With a minor mishap on the bed, we finally got it built and are no longer sleeping on the floor. We are going to try and do a house tour in the next week or so.

Women can do anything! Haha I was so tired! That was way to many pieces to put together. Luckily Kale was there to do half of the work!

You can put wood putty in the crack to repair - it comes in different stain colors so you can match the wood👍😉

That one is from ikea! We love it. It is like a sage green.
That looks like way to much work, that’s a lot of slats. So you don’t use a box spring on the bed just the mattress? I really like the bed, and Jess I don’t think the screw popping will matter, it looks pretty stable and it’s not going anywhere. When I started watching this vlog and you’re using the allen wrench I thought oh my gosh that will take you forever, get a screw gun then you did . So that just saved you a shit load of time
Hopefully more slats means less chance at falling through lol. We chose to just do the mattress so more of the headboard would show. You could still do a box spring if you wanted. Haha that literally was the very first piece and I couldn’t get it to go in. I don’t know how anyone could be done that all by hand!
