That Howarth was a good oboe and I really enjoyed it. It had great scale, but was difficult to blend in with the orchestra. Since then Howarth has really developed some great oboes. I had a chance to help in the development of the Yamaha oboes, which I now playing.
Sorry for the late response. I have a couple of the KGe machines and they work very well. I find the new Udo Heng profilers simpler to use and they are very accurate now. The new Cube is also very accurate.

I went to a master class of your's many years ago at TBA in Texas. You had just gotten a Howarth oboe.
