The reason Ezekiel went feral, was that the ridicule, the humiliation, and the torment from other competitors spearheaded by Chris McClean, caused him to go totally feral. Which made him feel there was no other way out.

Apparently the only reason they brought Ezekiel back this season was because the producers realized he had a fan base but instead of keeping him as a contestant they did this
he also appears in episode 7: slap slap revolution, in the scene where they’re all standing in the cargo hold, you can see ezekiel above a few boxes
