I mean, we are talking about the only protagonist in the series to not lose a single duel (not including flashbacks or off screen duels), so I think he deserves to be chill at 100 lp
I mean technically I can do you one better when Dartz sent his mirror knight to attack Yugi he blocked his attack with his Duel Disk and eventually took the damage after a quick talk with the Pegasus Mirror Knight

Yusei is the only Yu-Gi-Oh main protagonist that actually lifts and has a job (Mechanic). Most of them are skinny noodle Children that don't even know how to workout. Except Yuya, he parkours.
Yuma also parkours, though not as often as Yuya, and he usually does it outside of duels and is honestly pretty bad at it. And though it's more of a hobby than a job, Yuga is also something of a mechanic himself
What exactly is the point of mentioning a job? Yusei starts off as a 18 year old (20 is the age of adulthood in Japan) struggling by himself to survive as an orphan in a post-destruction city. Yugi aged from 16 to 18 in his story (manga; source material) being taken care of by his mother and grandfather. Judai aged from 15 to 18, and had a family and home. Yuma is 13 and had a family taking care of him. Yuya is 14 with a family. You can't have a job as a minor and student unless you sneak like Anzu did when she worked at Burger World at 16 years old then the next year she became a Kaiba Corp employee during Death-T all in order to save up for New York or Jonouchi at 17 years old being a paper boy because he's broke and lives with a shitty father who gambles. Of course the other MC's don't have a job. They don't need and can't work. Yusei has no one taking care of him like the rest. Also, Yusei is older than the rest of them, of course he's more muscular along with the fact he was in a gang physically fighting other people meaning he had to be strong.
Also more badass now that i think about it Like a moment where a baddie thinks they beat their opponents but they pull the uno reverse card and say this before their opponents thinks they lost "You forgot ....one little thing ... damage calculation.. IS STILL APLLIED" and then the finishing blow is delivered

Thats a false event that the anime staff changed from the manga because they had to reintroduce Kaiba into the story since Duel Monsters is a reboot focused on card games. They combined Kaiba's first appearance in chapter 9 with the Death-T arc in 1 episode. Sugoroku had heart problems because Kaiba gave him the experience of death in the Battle Box, which was meant to emulate the Penalty Game Kaiba got from Yami Yugi after he lost to him in Chapter 10. The horrific creatures scared the crap out of Sugoroku.

I think from DM-5D's people were using mystical powers or technology to have players take real damage. Then from Zexal-Arc-V they use Real Solid Vison throughout the series thats why they take real damage. In Vrains, no duels were made in the real world, but in the VRAINS System instead, and there, if your avatar takes damage, you also take damage in real life. Dont know about in Sevens though.

It's about as mature as the original series, if not more. The characters are actually fleshed out, and the plot feels different. Also, Card Games on motorcycles.
Likable characters, great music and good dueling strategy. Also the best rogues gallery in YGO where villains have an actual reason for being villains. But yes, card game on motorcycles is weird af and honestly makes less sense the more you think about it.
Honestly I know its super criticized, but give Zexal a try. The first 20ish first episodes will be very awful to get through, but once you get past that mark... It's honestly the best series, in my opinion. And this is coming from an absolute yugioh fan whose first show was 5D's and then went on to watch the original for most of my childhood. Now having watched all series subbed, I can easily say zexal takes the spot of winner. It's almost flawless honestly, everything it does is great
GX Dub: Aster kills his own father on-screen. Also GX Dub: Zane dies to a f**king heart attack on-screen. Again, the GX Dub: Banner literally dies through disintegration on-screen. Sonic X Dub: Maria's death is literally shown on screen and even mentioned, yet the only part of it that's censored is her getting shot in the back.

Yugioh isn't about being a brain dead card game player. Its about many different games being played. Yugioh means Game King. Not Card Game King. They just duel normally if no motorcycle. The one in motorcycle is called Turbo Duel, with different rules & plays compared to normal one.
In Turbo duels, they have something called speed counters
