Tip: expand the platforms, in bedrock, withers can also spawn outside the fortress.
How much should we expand the platforms?
@@barrydbrick4366 its better if you fill the whole chunk which the fortress is occupying. If you're not familiar with a chunk just download a resource pack chunk visualizer
In bedrock, they have dedicated spawn spots so expanding a platform is a waste of time. If you wanna do extra work, figure out where the spawn spots are and slab over everything else
@@thesaxiest4480 I know that. But sometimes the dedicated spawn spots are outside the structure. So for beginners, its just easy to just expand the platform. But I guess if you want to invest your time you can find those specific HSS
@@mieldavid9433 Somtimes yeah, but I'd say it's the exception and not the rule. The HSS is usually centered on each fortress piece in each chunk and so it doesn't fall outside the fortress super often

Tip: place slabs or pressure plates around, in, under and near the fortress but keep an open space around the four portals ( make sure to put slabs or pressure plates on the other portal)

Here is a thing wither skeletons go into the portals becyz they have to kill the piglin but other mobs like blaze can also go inside itby just roaming around so this is kinda a blaze r9d farm as well

tip: you can make a redstone clock behind the portal and put a piston that way wither skeletons will get pushed into the killing chamber and there will be no left behind

Couple things: you could make a trident killer instead and just hold the sword, or you could make the chamber out of obsidian and lure a charged creeper into it and explode it getting all of the wither skulls possible

Make sure to have an obsidian enclosure at the overworld side.
I somehow managed to do that and got 23 skulls but it destroyed my collection area 😅 (tip- use water to save 3 hoppers)

To prevent despawn- put bed at kill chamber, set your spawn point- when ready to start killing, remove gear and die in the nether near the “collection portal” instead of going through one. You will tthen be instantly at the kill chamber and therefore never out of the sim distance

@@shahriar5570 I play as hardcore. It's not hard to accept you only get 1 life, you don't need a computer to lock you out of the world to make you start over.
@@philipyates3194 Bedrock edition doesnt have the option of Hardcore, Only Java does (pc version of minecraft) there is also Pc bedrock but alas doesnt have hardcore either. Behaviour packs can enable hardcore but it requires cheats anyway therefore making the problem void.
Tip:while u go to home world make pec so it's good to save ur skin :)

If you want to kill wither skeleton manualy, you can kill with charged creeper in overworld, just make simple creeper farm and put lighting rod, but atleast the weather should rain and charge with trident

Not sure what you mean but building one in the nether is different from building in the overworld. Simply put the nether is smaller so overworld portals will connect to the same nether portal as they are in the same general area, meanwhile if you build it in the nether just placing it 10 blocks from another will make it appear 1000 blocks away from the other in the overworld.

Making the cross bridge darker would be better wouldn't it? As the wither skeletons spawn in lower light level, I would assume that removing most light sources near the box portal would increase spawn rates.
Nah, those nether mobs can spawn in like high light levels. I mean they're always near lava (One of the best light source). I think they need light level 11 or above to stop spawning which means they can spawn 5 blocks away from a torch. Typically mobs spawn 10-20 blocks away from the player.
Tip: If you swap the floor for Soul Soil and put Wither Roses you will be Nerf the spawn of other mobs (Blazes, Zombifies Piglins...)
Only Skeleton Wither can Spawn in the flower

A wither rose can only be obtained using the wither. This is a Bedrock tutorial. Fighting the wither is extremely hard.
@@HenriZwols You can always look up ways to make Wither Killers. You do still need to collect the Wither Skulls, but the farm does the killing for you. But when you build a wither killer, get a bunch of eggs which is easy, and throw them and get tons of chickens. Then make sure they’re near the initial blast of the wither so that you get stacks of Wither roses, and then wait for the wither to die from the farm. And there you go.
this is very useful farm. I don't know but you have got 2 skull in 20 min but i got 7 in just 10-15 min and 3 stack of bones and coal . thanks for telling this farm.

I think you can put slabs or blocks to block the wither dont get in and kill the piglin before teleport into the overworld
The Wither Skeles can't get the Piglin...ever. Mobs insta-teleport through portals. The instant they touch that portal block..."poof" gone. They cannot ever get through.

They also can't get over the top of the portals because they can't jump three blocks high. The only danger is something like a blaze or ghast somehow killing it, which is such a low chance that it'll never actually happen.
@@DoremiFasolatido1979 Thats the reason why u should put slabs to avoid blazes attack the piglin, about the ghast, u just can put slabs strong enough to protect the piglin, but the ghast still can turn off the portal
when you are going to the other portals you can place a lodestone and compass

Two quick additions you can do to this farm. Add a trident killer as opposed to a player kill method, you still get player kills and can hold a looting 3 sword to get buffs. Second add a chunk loaded so you don’t have to go to the overworld to get the kills, only donthis with the trident killer tho

@@coz9387 If I'm not not mistaken simulation distance does the same things. The only drawback is that there's only a set amount of chunks you can travel before it stops working .
I recommen for make a smite sword with looting 3 for insta kill , or trident killing chamber
Do chunk loaders work on bedrock like on Java? If that’s the case, use one on the second portal to automatically load chunks. After that, make the killing chamber automatic by making trident killer (design on a lot more of his videos) and looting/xp will still work!
Unfortunately chunk loaders don’t work on bedrock

This kind of works in minecraft java. Problem is I keep getting zombie piglins and blazes too. Sometimes I don't even get a wither. And the rates are rather low. If I spawn proof most of the area, the rates should go up. Luckily I've set up in a soul sand valley, so most the time things only spawn in the fortress. I'll have to spawn proof things today and see if I've wasted my time. The other mobs don't bother me too much getting caught, but the rates are very low without spawn proofing. I did this set up without realizing in the title it was for bedrock.

Tip:blazes will spawn when built nether portal they can lit it so when your getting a piglin becareful of letting go in the portal

Easy way to get piglins in is by switching from easy to peaceful and back until they follow you all the way there, be careful though. I died twice doing it because it’ll spawn a bunch of mobs just out of your view distance. Respawn anchors are recommended during the building process lol
could just lure it there in easy witch in end game is easy and then make like 3 or 3 rails and a minecart and its in place

So I went ahead and did this in Creative, Linked all 4 portals to specifically the one main portal in the overworld, , I had also spawn proofed the radius area, and AFK'd the amount of time I took in taking a shower, and unfortunately 70% were Pigmen, 20% Blazes, and 10% were Wither Skeletons. The farm is not to blame for this, there just seems to be a lower spawn rate for Wither Skeletons. For those who claim of not being able to make the last portal and connecting to the main one, I recommend you to watch Portal linking Guides

It’s a hassle but it works if you use 2 accounts and put one in the afk spot and one at the kill spot
Pro tip : if you have a lot wither rose place it all around your four portal this will help to spawn more wither skeletons and no other mob can spawn
Im assuming that you can make this automatic if you make the collection hole deep enough so the skellys are 1 punch from death, then use trident piston observer method to kill them and the whole colletion process is automatic. Can anyone confirm?

Portals can link up to nearby portals in a 128 block radius. Nether is (overworld×8) so, in the nether, you need to build your travel portal about (128/8)=16blocks or more from the farm portal.
Also, since portals can generate at wrong coordinates, break and make the portal in the overworld in the correct coordinates.

I did this in Java. AFKed for 25 minutes and got a bunch of blazes and some zombie pigmen but no wither skeletons. Works well if you need blaze rods though
Well just built this farm on my Xbox World and paired it with a Kill Chamber (JCPlayz) while holding a Looting 3 Sword, can be wooden for all matters since you won't be using it 😉, and from the Hopperd Chest grabbing all the yummy loot, I have an Item Sorter (Silentwhisper) for every piece of loot

Instead of making this kill chamber, I recommend that you make a trident killer.
It's even easier that make platform for increasing the spawn rate then place piglin between then dig hole around piglin then make killing chamber below it no need to make lots of portal 😁

The distance that your new portal needs to be away from the old one isn't terribly large, only 128 blocks

I tried something like this with blazes and even with the portal right next to the spawner everything would despawn unless I went Into the same portal as the blazes.

Tip:Use a trident killer to kill the wither skeletons so you can afk but still get xp and if your holding a looting 3 sword while the trident killer is on it will give you better drops and more skulls and it only requires a trident some observers,pistons a mincart with a hopper and some other stuff and if you don't know what a trident killer is just search it up on youtube and you'll find dozens of tutorials on how to build it

You can't really afk this effectively without 2 people. Nothing will happen in the overworld while you're in the nether and nothing will spawn while your in the overworld, so if you're using this by yourself, you can't afk
@@thesaxiest4480 you can afk in the nether for a little bit and then go to the trident killer in the overworld and afk there for a little bit too until all the mobs are dead and repeat
You can also lure wither skeletons with an iron golem, which might save a ton of time vs trying to capture and ensconce a piglin. The issue I'm having is that the skellies are despawning when I return to the overworld; and I built my friendly portal as close as possible to the kill portal trough trial and error; it can't be even one block closer without linking. Guess I'll use the die/respawn technique. I did turn my sim distance down to 4, no diff vs 8.
I never could get decent rates from this farm. I built silentwhisperer's farm instead. It was a lot more work but nd I have stacks of skulls now

My portal spawned in an Amethyst cave. Tried to do the second portal but the closets I could make it was still over 200 blocks away and above ground. Decided to just say yolo and risk it all by putting doors behind the portal in the over word and hoping I can get out🤣
