  • Trailer for the little-known 1983 horror film from Ulli Lommel, starring his wife Suzanna Love and the late, great Donald Pleasence. The film revolves around witches and scared, ignorant townsfolk. K-Tel Home Video used this trailer in Australia to promote their 1984 release of the film on VHS.

I remember watching this on a fall Sunday afternoon on the USA channel around 1990. I was 10 or so at the time and I remember going to my friend's house afterwards. Good times.

I cant believe Ulli Lommel got Bill Rebane to produce this! Bill Rebane got actors from this to play in The Demons of Ludlow such as Mary Walden, Deanna Haas, Michael Accardo, William Dexter, Angailica (his daughter), Paul Bentzen, and Alan Ross. I also cant believe that Ulli got Donald Pleasence to be in this either!

I loved this movie! I think it has a good, creepy feel to it. It's a good example of how some small towns do put the new kid under scrutiny for anything or nothing at all while they harbor their own dark secrets.
