- "Buns" is a famous snack or breakfast recipe at South canara. There may be none or very few who dislike buns. It is a kind of sweet dish, but tastes super with spicy chutney, sambar or tovve. It should be served hot. Ingredients required are very few such as maida/wheat flour, riped bananas, sugar, salt, jeera and baking soda also required must.The buns is said perfect when it's inside structure is layered. So it should be rolled thick.

Mysore Banana 10
Sugar 3 tbsp
Salt
Cumim 2sp
Curd 1 cup
Maida (as per consistency) used 5 cups
Oil for deep fry

😋👌 My favorite dish! which I hardly get it in my Belgaum that to some canteen n not in hotels. Some times we do prepare at home but not with that authentic taste. While visiting my P. P. Shridhar Swamiji's Ashrama at varadahalli, by default I eat it either at Sagara or Sirsi. Thanks for this recipe, now we will definitely try it 😊 🙏
