@George Gordon I wouldn't say they played two full games if you're talking about the scrimmages. When they scrimmaged Appling they had like 7 starters out and Appling had 15 starters out resting for ware county. I wouldn't call that one a game at all.
@George Gordon But when they played a scrimmage against a team that held nearly all of their starters out I wouldn't call that real game experience. Scrimmages are more like practice. Not a Irwin fan but I watched the game and they looked like the better team. That play that was called a fumble in the end zone was a Irwin TD all day long and there was one play that fitz was given a TD but the player #81 actually stepped out of bounds so it shouldn't have been a TD. The refs really layed an egg in that game. Irwin had the game won at least 3 different times and I picked Fitz to win but Irwin look alot better honestly but it's hard for any team to overcome blown calls that cost points.
@George Gordon I'm not hating because I don't have a dog in your fight but I did watch the game and from an outsider's view Irwin looked like a better team and the refs had some terribly blown calls that really lost the game for Irwin. I could care less who wins out of Fitz and Irwin.
@@MorrellProductions at the end of the game. Was the QB spiking the ball or was it a bobbled snap thus allowing Fitzgerald to return it for a touchdown
damn, that game had all the ingredients. Small towns. Rivals. Close game. Crowd standing along the fence. Those are the kind of games I like.
Yes Sir..it did!
Two storied and respected programs goin at it for the first game of the season. Man I miss football season!
Great Rivalry! 💥💥🔥🔥
Awesome footage as always 🏆 Bainbridge awaits you .
Thanks for watching and your recommendation.
Irwin had that game won at least 3 times. They will be better at the end of the year.
I was impressed with Irwin. I think that they will do well this season.
