  • The plaintiff says when he was younger, he was a drug dealer and nearly lost his life. After turning his life around, he became a pastor in Orlando. He is suing his son’s ex-girlfriend for a bail bond plus interest after he bonded out the defendant’s son from jail. The defendant has two grown sons with the plaintiff’s son and raised them as a single mother. She admits the plaintiff did bond out her son from jail, but she feels he should sue her son for the money since he’s a grown adult.

He gave her more than adequate time to pay, but she had already made up in her mind, probably as she was on the phone asking for the money, that she had NO INTENTION OF PAYING A DIME OF IT BACK!! Well I kinda knew the case would turn out like that but hoped it wouldn't. I was hoping that the man would get the judgment and the woman would have to sue her son. I think that's how it would usually go but the guy came in with his back history and swelling morality and I guess JM believed he has a greater moral responsibility. This is grey. I get everyone's points. I think that if you're in jail, you should pay back those monies paid for your life betterment. I feel like if you ask for the money to help someone get out of jail, you're on the hook also because you want this to happen. Also, if you're a minister, and a woman is taking care of her sons without help, you could have at least done half.

Lol wack response. That man shouldn't be suing anybody for getting his own grandson out of jail? He's a schemer. Also seems like he's just as present in his son's life, and his grandchildrens lives, as his son is. Deadbeat breeds a deadbeat if you don't teach him better

I don’t care who raised him 100% of the time. She called him for the money. She didn’t call and make an agreement with the father and grandfather. Also, that son is an adult. Regardless of the past, this is a current situation as an adult resulting in a mistake that he made, so why should the father or the grandfather be held liable… or Even the mother? This was a loan… Plain and simple! She should be ashamed of herself for trick bagging the grandfather, knowing that he would have some sort of soft spot that she could play on.
