The productiom on this is crazy. They produced and recorded it all im Finneas bedroom. Billie also has producing credits, she did the last part of bad guy. Won them all major grammys in 2019 as well as best producer for Finneas. Happier than ever is her newest album from 2021 anf they released Guitar songs the Ep with just two tracks last year. Her 3rd album seems to be almost done, we can expect fresh music pretty soon I guess. Always a vibe to chill out with you
I really love how they implemented a prevalent use of silence on this album, it’s like being drawn into different dreams from the moment things go silent when you’re falling asleep so that in itself fits the title so well! It’s like pop music you could imagine hiding within the silence of being asleep!
I knew you were gonna love this I was so surprised when i recommender the Barbie Song that you didn't hear her before, and i was excited for you to discover what a versatile Artist Billie is.. she is the only artist i discovered when still small and unknown and when this album released and suddenly everyone was talking about her i felt so proud for her :) Oh also if you love creative Musicvideos, pleaseee do a reaction to all visuals for every album, they are amazing and especially during their time truly stand outs to what we were used to when it came to musicvideos
Another terrific reaction! I do think the EP was like an Album. I love this debut album. I usually skip over "8" but the rest I like them all - and actually though I know Billie loves "The OFFICE" - I could almost do without "The OFFICE" excerpts - by the way while Billie and Finneas co-write most everything Finneas is the sole wrtier for "My strange addiction" and "When the Party's Over" as well as "Ocean Eyes" and Watch" from "Don't Smile at Me." Also, Billie was 16 and 17 for the writing of the songs on WWAFAWDWG released on her mother's B.D. I love "Bad Guy"! - actually the whole album - so creative! "Happier Than Ever" will be as big a change as the difference between the EP and this one. The 2 song EP in 2022 "Guitar Songs" is nice, but it's only about 5-6 minutes - Billie just had things on her mind that she wanted to put out for the public. -
