- Well well well, look what finally got updated! Instead of tackling the 3 new levels right away, I figured it would be better to redo the mod from scratch since a lot has been changed.
For starters, there's now proper Serious Sam music for all the levels with the DOOM Eternal music being relegated to its own mod for people who preferred it. The art style has also had a massive overhaul to feel more consistent across the board. All weapons now use altered SS4 models and have updated animations, sound effects, and new stats; effectively making them standalone weapons.
M1L1tarist wanted this to be a challenging mod for experienced players, so this first map starts off pretty rough with mini-Khnums, Kleers, Gnaars, Kamikazes, Blue Biomechs, all Beheaded variants, and even Harpies if you snag the secret Assault Rifle. It may seem like a lot, and it is, but thankfully the Shotgun doesn't reload and has received a nice fire rate buff so you'll be putting it to good use. You also get an SSG in the final arena which has received a buffed nerf... A berf? Idk, basically it fires faster than the regular BFE SSG but slower than the SS4 SSG, putting it somewhere in between; it also has a tighter spread, making it more effective at medium range.
All in all, a really fun introduction level with great guns to use!

This is so much better with the stock music!
Although there is so, SO many "remasters" on the workshop for SS3, this one has kind of a charm to it. And it doesn't feel completely out of place in the SS3 universe. I like the fact the guy went through the effort to fix up the consistencies between weapons and player models. This has potential. Looking forward to what's gonna happen next!

It's a really good mod
So what do you prefer - BFE Enhanced or TTSG?
I like both for different reasons:
BFE Enhanced because it’s probably my most played Sam mod of all time and the main reason I’m good at Sam to begin with.
TTSG because it’s new and delivers a fresh take on BFE’s campaign with new enemies, weapons, and difficult combat arenas that keep you on your toes.
I’d probably pick BFE Enhanced because of nostalgia but they’re both worth checking out
Later levels are kinda booty tbh, but early levels are fun
What does TTSG stand for?
