You’re right fish are sadly sometimes just used for decoration which sucks because like other pets they need proper care, that being said these vids are so cool I’ve got a halfmoon beta and I bet he would love something like this

I used to have goldfish when I was 5 and I was stupid and kept taking them out the water and I was still confused how they died like I didint put my hand in their water and carried them both out for a minute and now I'm better and I care for fish better

I really like these ‘optical illusion’ style builds you do. I hope the 2nd story doesn’t dump its water ever!! I’d be very cautious when doing any water changes… 🌊🌊🌊🌊
Interesting point, but it would just fill back with air as the water is drained, like it looks being filled up. You could blow air into it to drain stagnant "second story" water.
LOVE this! I think we would all like the grand tour to last a bit longer on this one especially!

It would be so wonderful if you could help me with a few questions:
Is it good or bad for the fish to leave a little bit of air inside the top tank? The tank has honey gouramis and corydoras as well. That’s why I’m concerned.
*I also have several live plants in the bottom tank and a small floating plant in the top tank.
Do I need a power head to help the flow? I combined a 29g/high with a 10g on top of it. The filters I have installed are a hang on back(for 50g) plus a sponge filter(for 75g). “The sponge filter is blowing its air outside the top tank. 😂 “
The fish have an opened gap of only 10” for the fish to get air. The rest of the tank (about 20”) is totally covered w/ the inverted tank. Is it too much? They look totally fine, but I’m the one concerned. I want them to enjoy it and not to suffer.
I do water changes in my tanks once a week (no skipping days).
Any advice will be deeply appreciated!!!! Thank you so much 🙏

Such a good idea to get rid of some surface so less oxygen will mix in the water for the fish to breath! Its also awesome how the trapped toxic gasses after some time cause problems for the fish too, that way you can buy new fish without having them to throw them in the toilet alive and feel guilty after it right!?
Plan and work on going to build one but i have discuss with the tetras in the tank
