Epic comeback moment! Match was entertaining and looked fun, albeit Emp player being paralyzed & poisoned EVERY time must have been a mald moment.

That looks like a pretty fun format

I have that Empoleon card at hom that I got when I was like 5 years old. I always giggled at that weird attack name: "Surf together".

Empoleon was my last meta deck before quitting. I loved that deck! 😊

    Empoleon is funny,.
wigglytuff says "do the wave" and Empoleon responds "surf together"

Of all the attempts players made in 2008 to counter Gardevoir, Empoleon was the best. While many rogue decks from the time simply don’t hold up in today’s meta, the only deck that can beat EmpoZong more often than EmpoZong beats it is Torterra, as Jay Hornung discovered.

I just remembered that the Lucario playmat was signed! I saw Tord Reklev's signature and Kyle Pooka's signature, but I can't read the other signatures. Who else signed it?

@@holon_phantom Quite an excellent collection! All you're missing is Jason Klaczynski's signature. He's thinking of hosting a DPPt+ tournament soon... it might be worth modifying one of your 2010 decks and trying to attend (Not one with World Championship cards, I'm afraid. He treats them as proxies too, and while he allowed players 10 proxies in their decks for the EX Block Format tournament, he will probably allow fewer, if any, for this one).

Where do you buy your world championship decks? Or did you have them already? Love your vids!

      Thank you!
I've had all these decks for years now, before they shot up in price

Difference in power between these decks has been presented. Bad start, unlucky draws, 4 times being paralyzed by coin flip - didn't even the chances

Not to mention Electrode barely did it's job, when it was expressly included as the deck's Empoleon counter.
