I don't understand. Shirogane want to send message to Kaguya without sending a "read receipt", so he makes use of student council group chat. However, isn't there a "read receipt" in the group as well?

If you use Other App IRL there will be an Icon under each message showing who have read the message.
Though Line is exclusive to Japan so we can't actually know for sure

For those wondering, Shirogane will be for the time being, voiced by Clifford Chapin, since Aaron Dismuke hurt his vocal cords and is taking a break for around a month
So while it's only temporary, lets accept Clifford Chapin into the family of Kaguya with open arms.

I love the Kaguya dub so much. I donât think anyone expected it to be this good. The casting is perfect. Only problem is whenever I hear Ishigami all I hear is Kaneki
The only problem was they changed one of the main characters English voice actor Miyuki Shirogane, too Clifford, it was Aaron Dismuke who voice that character. So it feels really weird sometimes when I watch it, it feels like I'm watching attack on Titan all over again.

Iâm pretty sure there are other times when Shirogane jumps the gun. Makes sense, considering his style is to improv off his intelligence. Shinomiya probably would have thought of that if the shoe was on the other foot.
I have to say Iâm loving Cliffordâs performance as Shirogane, not as much as Aaronâs but itâs still great. Get well soon Aaron.

@@Direwolf181 Aye, Aaron Dismuke hurt his vocal cords & has been on vocal rest for awhile, so Clifford's taking up the mantle of Shirogane until Aaron gets better.
I met Aaron and Clifford both at an autograph session a few weeks after the season ended.
When I complimented Clifford on his work stepping in to voice Shirogane, he playfully said, âGo tell Aaronâ.
Aaron said that he tried so hard to get into the booth, but his voice just would not cooperate, but he feels loads better now.
This is the only anime that has a dub that never disappoints

Clifford Chapin nailed it as Shirogane!
Man, Aaron definitely has that stoic class which fits Shirogane. But Clifford's a great substitute. His performance just adds a little bit more oomph. He makes the scenes feel more volatile, like there's a pressure waiting to _explode_ between him and Kaguya.
President deserved that win over being gaslighted.

While it's a bit of a shock after getting so used to Aaron Dismuke, having Clifford Chapin dub this lie was a perfect choice.
Everytime it throws me to realise that Hayasaka is voiced Amalee (aka, Vtuber Monach or Leeandlie) but once it clicked it is definitely her.
