This song was played as my cousins funeral on saturday! He had special needs and died only 16 years old, This was his favourite song always made him smile even in his last few days.. I cant stop listening to it! RIP Mark Love you! x
My daughter, who is 19 now, used to love this show. We would watch it in the mornings while getting ready for school and work. She's now in her second year of college and it brings a joyful tear to my eye watching this, makes me think how time flies by us so fast. Thanks for posting :-)
I'm close to your daughter's age, and I have to say I am amazed at how much time flew myself. I always felt bad when this song came up because those words "but suddenly we're through" rang too true. I wonder if she remembers this, and if she felt the same too.
Over 10 years since I've seen this show. This song had me sobbing, no not just that. This song had me BAWLING. I miss it so much. I'll never forget it.
My great aunt passed away today from Covid-19 and I was just staying strong for my family, and then I came back to this and the whole time I listened it tonight, I just thought of her and broke into tears! Rip Great Aunt Gloria 😔
You know what’s odd? A lot of goodbye songs made me feel really sad, but this one more left me with a satisfied feeling. I’m not sure if it’s because of the jazzy score, or if it was just because it gave me more reassurance that they’d be back the next day. But I was always okay saying goodbye to Bear, since this song reminded me I’d see him again.
I have grown up with this TV show I am 14 now and still love this song just goes to show no matter how old you are the classics are still on top no matter what I love bear in the bid blue house x
I’m so sad 😭 “cause we’ll see you very soon i know” I remember watching this every morning before school with my sisters 💘🎀I miss those days I’m now 20
Let me pull at everyone's heart strings a little. The reason the show ended is because the voice actor for Luna passed away and the rest of the cast didn't have the heart to continue without her. The goodbye song from the last episode was played at her funeral.
I miss this show so much! 😢 Now this was quality tv. I remember watching Noggin and PBS shows like Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street and even shows like Big Comfy Couch. All the stuff they have nowadays isn't nearly as good. When I have a kid these will be the shows they watch.
Can't believe I forgot about this show, I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid, I'm 22 now and just makes me miss those days, had a shit day and put this on and it put a smile on my face, great times.
I am 16 as of right now. This was my childhood. Even though the last episode came out when I was 2, I haven't heard this song in 8 years. I really wish I could go back to being a child. Time does fly by... :(
i miss this show so much im now 12 and i havent seen this in 6 year yet i still sing with it when i hear it i have no choice its habit and i sing it perfectaly
this song makes me ball my eyes out because it reminds me for us tomorrow is the end of school and a lot of my friends aren't going to the same middle school :( this song just reminds me that me and my friends will see each other soon
Me and a friend sang this song on the phone with my ex who was begging for me to stay with her after she cheated. Proceeded to block her immediately after. And that was that.
When I'm about to die, I'll use my last breath to request this song to play at my funeral, or when they lower my casket into the ground, either one will do
It makes me sad to think children today never heard of this show. I loved this when I was 4. Then they cancelled it because the voice of Luna passed away
Big Bear in the Big Blue House was a puppet show MASTERPIECE. One of the last truly good puppet shows. Do they even make those anymore (other than sesame street)
MOHAMMED GEEDI: I can just imagine Jimmy Neutron tearfully saying goodbye to his seven best friends from Retroville - Sheen Estevez, Cindy Vortex, Carl Wheezer, Libby Folfax, Nick Dean, Brittany Tenelli, Elke Elkberg and especially Goddard before he has to leave for the airport to catch his flight to Metropolis. [But Jimmy doesn't have to worry, because Trixie Tang from Dimmsdale will keep him safe from any bad guys]
MOHAMMED GEEDI: I can also imagine Sheen, Cindy, Carl, Libby, Nick, Brittany and Elke gently reassuring Jimmy that while he's away, they are going to keep his lab safe and Goddard will be looked after by Timmy Turner from Dimmsdale.

I'm 30 years and I still love and sing along to this song.
And I thought 27 was a bit too old. Oh well, I can sing more comfortably with that knowledge.

If this song doesn’t play at my funeral, I’m not dying.
