@@joeshubin4655 Really. Never heard that before, anything is possible but doesn't sound likely. Chris actually said the first time he performed it was right around Prince's death. "Prince's music is the soundtrack to the soulful and beautiful universe he created, and we have all been privileged to be part of that amazing world. I performed his song 'Nothing Compares 2 U' for the first time a couple months ago. It has a timeless relevance for me and practically everyone I know. Sadly, now his own lyrics in this song could not be more relevant than at this moment, and I sing them now in reverence as I pay tribute to this unequaled artist who has given all of our lives so much inspiration and made the world so much more interesting. We will miss you Prince!!!"

But he went and did it anyway and he did it 6 months before Prince died.

The other one is called fell on Black Days which he wrote when he was the lead singer for Soundgarden. The other band he worked with was called Audioslave. His song called Cochise and Like a Stone are two of the band's best songs. But all their work is excellent. Fun fact to know in Rock and Roll history. Chris Cornell took his own life in 2017. He put a lot of his pain into his singing. The following year, on what would have been his birthday, his friend Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) also took his own life.

For more Chris Cornell you gotta check out Audioslave’s Like a Stone and I Am the Highway! Also: Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. Both bands were a part of Chris’s music history. His solo career was great too! For that I will have to recommend: When Bad Does Good, Dead Wishes, Murderer of Blue Skies, and You Know My Name. He was one of the greats. Rest In Peace Chris
Edit: Oh yeah!!! I almost forgot about Temple of the Dog. They only did one album in memory of Chris’s friend, Andrew Wood. But Say Hello 2 Heaven and Hunger Strike are a must to listen to!!!

It's still hard to watch Chris. I'm haunted by his last performance! I was at that show here in Detroit on 5/17/17! He seemed a bit "off". My friend and I just joked that while he still looked so fine age catches up with everyone eventually! I had seen him live many times, but it had been more than 10 years since I had seen him. His final song was a cover of Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying". He had done that song at many shows before so we didn't really didn't think anything about it! Waking up the next morning, it was clear what was "off"! R.I.P. Chris! You will always be missed!

This was my favorite reaction you’ve done. I’ve watched this video so many times. I consider myself very lucky to have seen him live along with Linkin Park (Chester Bennington) 11 years ago. I remember the exact moments I heard of their passing. I didn’t even watch the video. I only watched your face. It is impossible to watch and hear this without getting emotional. Another great one from this performance is his song Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart. Another great one to really hear his voice is the Chris Cornell Studio Jam Session of “Hunger Strike” or “Seasons”

So this was like the 4th or 5th video I've watched from you Shiloh. I love you reactions. They are genuine. I think it's really great because if you heard other versions of these singers and their and their faster more aggressive music you would like them just the same. The greatest part about you reviewing the stripped-down versions of their songs is that you really get the true power and genius that is their voice. I subscribed to your channel. And I look forward to more reviews.
