Looking to start painting models so I came for a comparison. Now I just want to paint lightning! Amazing what these can do. Very informative video!

I'm 52 and only now was just able to get my first airbrush-- a NEO
I SO needed this video! Your channel got *two* subscriptions from me because of it! (One on my account, and one on my wife's-- although, she doesn't know it yet... lol!)
    Much obliged from the states!!

37:51, You can tell by the bubbles in the cup, when the needle is clogged. Because the air is back washing into the cup. A bit of retarder in the color helps a lot. I've noticed that with my Revolution. It's a great airbrush. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

I had my Iwata Revolution for over 14 years and still going strong. The only issue i had with it was the little needle nozzel tip is way too small. when I went to do a deep clean i dropped it and bounced away and could not be found. I ordered another needle nozzel tip. I highly recommend the Iwata Revolution if your looking for a quality airbrush for a great price. I stepped up to the Iwata HP-CP high performance plus. Great airbrush for finer lines and lighter shading. However I only use it 10% of the time. Thanks Weekend Warlards for taking the time to make this video.

MrCeez1 iwata do a really nice rubber mat for stripping down airbrushes. It has saved me on several occasions when cleaning client airbrushes from losing pieces. Be sure to check out the rest of our painting videos.

    • @MrCeez1
      @MrCeez1 Před 3 lety +1

@@kirk7791 the eclipse is more modern and possibly more parts available. But both really good quality.

Great video and I learned that it isn’t something I’m doing wrong as far as the nozzle getting clogged. I always thought it was me, that I wasn’t doing something right. Turns out that this is a common problem when airbrushing. Especially with acrylics. I’m pretty new to this and I don’t airbrush very often, so to say I’m not very good at it or knowledgeable with using one is an understatement. Anyway, thank you for posting your video!

You needed to put on your glasses to paint that? I would have needed to look through a microscope! Those are some super-fine lines! I'm brand new to airbrushes, and I never would have guessed they could do such fine, detailed work.

    I have:
one Tamiya HG 0,3 with trigger
    one Iwata HP CP 0,3
    one Iwata HP CP 0,2
    one NEO CN for Iwata
I use in present only NEO CN because of no paint dust and no grainy surface after painting (i tested them at the same pressure and dilution with Tamiya Acrylics)

Thanks so much for this, been stuck with a 20$ Chinese copy brush for a while. Gonna go for the Revolution. Also, has anyone ever told you that you look like Bronn from Game of Thrones?

You ever notice it says neo for iwata and all others say iwata revolution iwata high line ECT. It's because it's made by sparmax it's a cheaper version of the max 35 in .3 instead of .35. It's 75 bucks so 15 more for a max 35 or sp35 and there so responsive compared to neo. Almost to responsive actually just a slight rock back of trigger gets paint like zero pull back before hand like most have.

Badger makes a better brush for that price. I’ve never had any good experiences with a iawata. The only one I’m now interested in now is a micron. But there so expensive I can’t see ever trading in my infinity. Grex makes a great brush also if your looking for a trigger style gravity feed.

Hi, we can barely hear your compressor in this video... what are you using? Are these any good with the Iwata 2spray? I’m in an apartment so both cost and noise levels are a big factor for me.

Check out "Werther Sil-Air" compressors, rated at 35 decibel they are as quiet as a fridge and so you can airbrush at any "weird" hour of the day/night, lol. 🤘
