These are two separate fields. The common advice I give to all students is that first you have to find your focus based on your previous education, future plans. Do not select a course for the reason that there are more jobs in this field. But chose based on what you will enjoy studying.

Whatever you study, you have to consistent, develop a system and disciplined. Generally, the education at university level isn't like SSC or HSC when you have to study regularly. So you have develop your own routine.

Not really. It depends how strong your English skills and previous knowledge is on what you want to study. Software engineering is a valuable skill and if you have background knowledge then that will definitely help.

Since you had big study gap so you have to check entry requirements of the universities. I’d recommend choosing a mid category university which doesn’t have lots of entry requirements. You can study masscom, economics or any other course from social sciences.

Look it really depends on what your future plans are. If you want to settle abroad then studying at foreign universities would make sense. But if you want to stay in BD then you can either choose a local well-reputed university or even go abroad, complete your degree and come back to BD>

I'd recommend choosing between UIU or IUB. IUB has international accreditation and UIU has a large number of conglomerates which offer employment opportunities after completing education.

Both are good. Difficult to single out one. I’d suggest choosing the one that’s close to where you live. UIU has advantages of being part of a big group of companies.

You always have to put BRACU and NSU on top in the list. Between these two BRACU attracts more students in CSE compared to NSU. But NSU definitely has the advantage of having a nice campus and it’s ranking. So decide based on these information.
