I develop for Vr! I wonder if that’s what you’re doing as well! Also wanted to leave an update…it’s been a few weeks and the tv couch desktop pc life is so fantastic. Now I have my desktop hooked up to a 50 inch screen which at first well…little hard to see the x button or…the minimize button on some programs but WOW being able to use Unity on a tv and cinema 4d, Zbrush even its amazing. For example being able to press play on Unity and it going on your tv it feels like you’re really playing the game (I have a Vr emulator for when my lazy ass doesn’t feel like putting on my 20 pound oculus quest.)
It seems you’ve moved on from the tv couch life…but just wanted to once again say thank you for your life changing video 😂😂

These weren’t expectations and realities of software development, just expectations and slightly less intense expectations. The realities should have been:
1. You aren’t doing simple leet code problems and implementing algorithms from
school; you’re solving a real problem and trying to find which existing solutions to combine to make the thing work.
2. You’re not just testing Alexa all day in different ways, you’re writing code to do one thing and testing it over and over until it works. “Alexa, turn off the lights.” “Nope, maybe I have this boolean inverted.” “Alexa, turn off the lights.” “Wrong room, maybe this array index is off by one.” “Alexa, turn off the lights.” “Nice!”
3. You’re not constantly in VR having fun like when you play VR, you’re constantly putting on/taking off your headset and getting disoriented every time as you switch between coding on your monitor and testing the game in VR.
