  • We're going to look at and talk about the nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea and the bronchial tree quite lightly so that we can describe the anatomy of the airway.
Includes bronchopulmonary segments (but I won't name them all) and the mucociliary escalator.

Im studying medicine in Germany as an american- the lectures here lack a lot of the holistic flair common to english-speaking teaching. On top of that, its significantly easier to digest information when its in your mother tongue!
Thank you so much for these videos! :)

    ON TIME Sir! :)
Your videos are especially helpful for me since I am an athlete and knowing how the human body functions, I can further take better care of my body and condition it properly.
And also because I have been suffering from severe clinical depression for the last 10 years and I realized that my breathing had become severely shallow and most of the times I would only breathe through one nasal cavity. That has had severe consquences on the physical and mental health as well as focus and concentration.
I remember when I was a fairly intelligent person, had good focus, healthy body and a healthy mind and what has changed since then.
And your videos help me develop a proper understanding of our body and how it functions.
Also since I realized that the human body is the perfect engineering specimen -both: the functional and the self-regulatory aspect of it- perhaps we can unlock new engineering secrets by developing understanding of the human body.
    My immense gratitude Sir :)

It acts more like copd bec i have phlegm i cough up and shortness of breathe thats not helped much by inhalers. I went from being a healthy 32 year old to struggling everyday. Just floating ideas, cus they work for me, and that is, we fail to breath very efficiently through our sinuses. They can become blocked and it is easier to use our mouths. This is folly because the air that passes through our sinuses is delayed a little but feeds into our upper chest bronchial tubes and not only inflates the upper chest but appears to massage the aortic arch. It's early days yet but the many photos and images of ill people I've seen all seem to express this failure, clearly.

His face is narrow, just like mine, and the sides of his teeth don’t meet at the corner of his mouth, there is a black space there where teeth should be, it’s also why his voice sounds like he’s struggling to speak, it’s cuz he is, I wonder if he’s aware of this, it’s quite obvious from my perspective🤔 I have the exact same issue. The man needs MMA/Double Jaw Surgery or even MSE + MSDO
