When Arne Slot started in Rotterdam the total squad value was around 75 million, at this moment it’s 318 million.
The man on the video is really good informed, do his homework very wellđŸ€—And Slot is definitely the best manager since begin 90s when i start following Feyenoord, maybe best ever in my opinion.

I recommend to watch the UCL games Feyenoord played this year. Just the way they played not the results, obviously. I think they dominated Atletico in both games. I think they suffered in experience but they played sensationally.

Great point about the personality and highlighting the difference between Ten Hag and Slot. Ten Hag did some great things at Ajax when that club was still well run. But even in the Netherlands EtH was criticized for his communication skills. A very hard lined My way or the high way character, which tbh worked a lot of times for him when he had the right team around him.
Slot's strength is not only in his tactical vision, but also in his communication and charisma. He can explain his reasoning eloquently and his players are quoted:" everything he predicted to happen on the field happened." After a short period they really start buying into him and shortly after the team starts flying and investing into Slot. After 3 years at Feyenoord I have yet to hear one (ex) player of him say anything negative about the man. EtH has had some famous fallouts, even selling players because the characters didn't match his.
He also approaches and coaches players individually in matter that fits them. One player might be looking at a prepared video on their roles plan before the match, the other will have one of the assistents preparing a player one on one while a third is just getting in the zone with some music.

Honestly, I was quite shocked by all the scepticism and negativity from across the pond. It’s true that we may not have a blockbuster league. We are a small country with little income from sponsorship deals and broadcast rights. That is not helpful for our League in today's strongly commercialised multimedia society.
Our League is at times melodramatic, occasionally bordering on slaptick, and is a beautiful independent arthouse film at its best. But keep in mind that we’re still the founders of total football and the ancestors of tiki taka. I wonder why no one mentions that former Feyenoord players Dudek, Kuyt and Wijnaldum had an important part in Liverpool's successes. The fact that there are already three Dutchmen in the Liverpool squad, and the captain is a record signing who is Dutch even so isn’t often mentioned in the English media. Klopp's right-hand man was Dutch for years. I admit, this is as much a coincidence as the fact that Ten Hag is also bald and Dutch. Frank de Boer's performances in the PL and Premier League are also irrelevant. He won his successive titles with Ajax at a time when Arne Slot was still a valuable player for a fairly modest clubs and Feyenoord was practically bankrupt. Because De Boer has had a better career as a player, unlike Slot, he has been given the benefit of the doubt more often. In Dutch football it is said that a retired race horse doesn’t necessarily become a good rider. Slot may not have been the fastest race horse, but he is clearly a pretty good rider. He massively over performed with AZbefore he revamped
Feyenoord in just three years and did the impossible. Because Feyenoord isn’t very high in the food chain, key players were sold every year. Imagine what he could achieve when he gets the opportunity to work a bigger budget and work with the same players for many years. You should be very exited!

Whoever the manager is, it’s important we support them. And it’s important we remember that there is literally not a manager on earth besides maybe pep who could compete with. Klopp. Expecting another manager to be exactly like. Klopp is unrealistic and making a bar for our own back, but it’s also not fair on any new manager. Some of these guys only come around a couple of times a generation. And you can’t blame that on the next manager. Constructive criticism is fair. Expecting somebody to be Alex Ferguson or pep or, klopp is just delusional and setting yourself up for disappointment

Trouble is, in any other of most of those five seasons, we would have walked the league. We just unfortunately happened to be in a league with Manchester city. Which makes us look like we should have done better. Yeah, maybe we should have. But this isn’t the 90s or 2000s any more. In almost every season we have had the manager, in any other era except the man city dominant one, we would have walked away with title after title after title.
