I love this. Your message is absolutely important. To encourage our worship teams and individual members is so important. We are all worship leaders on the team. Anyone who is up there preforming or singing is first worshiping themselves and singing or playing to God first. Doing it in front of others is publicly professing your faith and this makes you a worship leader as you are leading the church in worship. This is one of the most important jobs in the church. Worship ministry is the backbone of the church. It is when we gather in Jesus name and sing our songs of love to God that we connect with the Holy Spirit. All of Gods will for us comes to us through our hearts when we Love the Lord in teh way he tells us to love him and that is with all our hearts, souls and minds. We need the Holy Spirit to worship the Lord properly. This is the part where we worship with our souls. This means worshiping with the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in us. I can not help crying out tears of joy when I sing to God when I am alone practicing. When I am in public God still humbles me but he changes my voice and takes control over the notes that come out and even the notes on the guitar. He gives us something extra. This is so we are attracting people to Jesus when we sing. The preacher can not even preach properly unless they are being uplifted and filled with the Holy Spirit and that happens when we gather in his name and worship our Father in heaven.

This is so true! Not only doe that change how your team prepares for worship, but it also shows during the service who is up there just to play a part and who is up there to lead!

Everyone on my worship team has been there for more years than I can count. I actually tried to think up a number, but they’ve been there for as long as I can remember. 20 years maybe? Could be 15, I’m doubtful at 10. So my drummer is 70 years old, he can throw down when he wants to. Sometimes it’s just getting him to want to. Ha ha. His wife who’s 10 years younger than him plays the bongos sometimes. Our pianist has been there for 28 years. My bassist has been there for probably about 10. My husband is my guitarist/singer and I lead. We’ve been there for for years but we’ve only been leading for a year. From One worship leader to another worship leader, you could probably discern my issues. Every practice/rehearsal we reiterate that we are worship leaders. We all are like family.

I think I can figure out where you're coming from 😂
At some point people have to decide to take ownership of their role. You can't make them do it. So, keep pointing them to truth - you've got this! 👊

Leading Worship Well I keep having that “at some point” mentality. Haha... At some point they have to start listening to the sets I send them. At some point they have to start coming to the altar with the right attitude. At some point they have to start taking care of their instruments at some point they have to start acting like this isn’t just something we do. At some point they will stop being mad because we’re not playing 1980s music. At some point they will play their instruments with passion.... You get my point. Nevertheless. God will be praised. I will lead worship well and as unto the Lord.

Yes I did like your video I was alright I guess.
Also when people come to church or should I say when I go to church when somebody else is leading that Sunday
I go expecting to hear from Gods work or from the singing and praise.
I guess your talk could have shared a little more scripture, actually you never shared one scripture.
Sorry friend that don’t sit well with me 😱

How about teaching worship teams to be less arrogant and egotistical and more passion and joy?
