About Ukraine - I am an African American woman with a Ph.D. who speaks Russian (Ukranian is close enough) - Out of the 48 countries I've been to (including lots of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus), Ukraine is the only country where I felt palpable hatred and fear for my physical safety daily. It was not only from men, but women too, old and young. This was also noticed by a fellow traveler who was white - without me even saying anything.
I'm sorry for your experience 😔 as a world traveler, there's an added barrier when you're traveling while black. Global anti-blackness is real.

Al interns are not pledges or your assistants. They're there to get hands on training to do their job. This explains why so many ppl have jobs and they're not properly trained for. They've been fetching coffee, dry cleaning, and other shyt that has nothing to do with their actual job.
Exactly! Al went from saying if you want access to what we have, you have to be pledged... then switched it up to we're too busy working so we need someone to help us get food and dry cleaning. Interns nowadays expect more from their internship experience, and that's why the smart ones are graduating from school with more smarts than upper level execs who spent decades still being pledged by old school processes and getting undeserved promotions based on surviving hazings.

Claudia was not correct about the teachers and it’s dangerous to speak on things that you don’t have all the facts on. Really hoping people do more research before giving opinions on matters that might influence their audience.

What are you are getting wrong is you're mixing up Ethnicity and Nationality. They are not checking passports before they are getting on the trains. There are Black Ukrainians too. I am Black and German I have 2 European passports and in a situation like that I am wondering would anyone care. Some of the ones who make it over the border are being racially profiled in Germany. Airline employees being more gentle?! Are you serious?? Airline employees’ throats were slit and killed immediately in the attacks. Ppl need to be more respectful of the staff and the rules! I was one of them during Sept 11 and the indignity, privilege and ignorance we had to deal with after knowing what happened to our colleagues is baffling. Ppl complaining about bags and silverware being removed in light of security speaks volumes of ppl.

I too spent time as a flight attendant and there was NEVER a time when I was not polite and kind to customers. If you don't know how to treat human beings get the hell out of the business. It is unacceptable to treat people with anger and contempt and nastiness and arrogance. And that is the way that flight attendants behave these days. I also worked as a flight attendant and I didn't behave like THAT. I didn't feel the need to behave like THAT. I think this has more to do with a bunch of narcissists. And if we're going to talk about flight attendants, I know from working that there's a culture of a lot of promiscuity and people sleeping around with each other and just, like, a lot of nasty disgusting things that go on behind the scenes. So I can imagine that, mentally and psychologically, a lot of these airline employees are not wrapped too tight in the head to begin with. I saw during my time, there was a whole lot of sleeping around that went on especially with the pilots and people are miserable and they take it out on the passengers. Being in the airlines does not pay a lot the airlines don't treat the employees well so they take it out on the passengers. And I don't want to hear about damn 9/11 that is no damn excuse. That is one terrorist event and that has no bearing on the general public and all these devoted customers going out of their way to spend money on the airlines. And there should be nothing shown to the customers except appreciation and kindness and understand that people are themselves going through a lot and they're looking to take a break and then have some peace and relaxation and travel and you IDIOTS are getting up making it bad and making it negative for everyone and I say just STOP IT!!! And I hope the lawsuits pile up and I hope people sue the hell out of the airlines and it's employees until they stop acting up and treat customers with kindness.

I saw a story about an Iranian family who was allowed to leave the country, father mother, grandmother and child, we’re all allowed to leave! Another family, they were African family - they were separated- the father WAS NOT ALLOWED to leave with his family. So that statement “Ukrainians taking care of Ukrainians” has not been consistent with what’s happening…….

Quiet as it's kept, Wendy actually started going downhill when the outside baby scandal became public. I disagree with Al's comment on sending the intern out to get lunch. Claudia said it right; you have your assistant to do it as that may fall within their job duties. That's one of the main issues within these corporate structures.
I agree with AL. They are too young. What then happens when their hormones settle and they realize those thoughts weren't what they thought. Now, they made a permanent decision on a temporary thought.
