      I glanced at it but like the four-post chain lift design. It's less likely to move or shift compared to the 2 or 3 post options. @@kevinb6102

    Hi! I like your video.
    Can I ask you the factory height of the saw deck?
    Looking at pictures of sawstop table saws, they look sort of too low, uncomfortably low to work on.
    How high exactly was your outfeed table?
    Thanks! Keep up the great work!

    • @ChristcrossCrafts
      @ChristcrossCrafts  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for watching. On the mobile base, it's 34 and about 1/2. I think saw only is 34 tall. I'm 5'-6" and find it ideal. Personally, a little shorter wouldn't hurt, lol. My outfeed is the same height now, after I raised the saw 3/4".

    How much of a "lip" is there between the saw case and the edge of the cast iron top? Enough to use lifting straps and a block & tackle to lift the saw high enough to get the mobile stand underneath? Sawstop says find 4 strong friends to lift it...

    • @ChristcrossCrafts
      @ChristcrossCrafts  Před rokem +1

      There is enough space for straps. I didn't have a way of hoisting it or 3 strong friends available, so I got it done the only way I knew how.

    • @davezak5870
      @davezak5870 Před rokem +1

      I didn’t trust the very small lip, so I first attached both cast iron wings before using straps and my chain hoist to lift it onto my ICS base

      @@davezak5870 Thanks for the gentle reminder to follow up... there was enough of a lip to use my 1" lifting straps (just outside the cabinet) and get the saw on the ICS. Nice and stable for the 4-5" up-and-down lift. Would have made a terrible piñata...

    • @ChristcrossCrafts
      @ChristcrossCrafts  Před rokem

      @Dave Zak yeah, I didn't have a hoist option so I left the wings off. Had I thought it through further, I would have added the wings, jacked it up, and let it down.

    Hi man. what is the third leg on the right of the saw ? I'm really curious !

    • @ChristcrossCrafts
      @ChristcrossCrafts  Před rokem

      I got the larger over arm dust tube. It has a leg that extends to the floor, as well as cross brackets, because it's considerably more heavy than the smaller one that mounts to the back of the saw.
