It been a little while since we've posted content on our channel, but it's for good reason. We've spent the last year recording hundreds of videos for our new flagship program: The ultimate Optician prep course.

I assume this is for British opticians as opposed to American opticians. American opticians have an 8 week trade school classes--British opticians are more like American 8 year university training.
Hey. Why are companies like Walmart putting people with no licence or formal education over Vision Centers? Georgia is a LDO state but they are finding ways around the laws. The managers they put in these heavily gossip about employees, customers and break HiPAA with a pure hate for the licensing process.

Hello. I have a question. How can I become an optician and work in the United States? I'm from and live in Mexico and I've got a Bachelor of Optometry from a Federal University here.
As a retired American O.D. : my advise--its not worth the time & expense. --All doctors in USA are abused in school & by unappreciative patients. You have been warned !
Every state is different. Some states you need your license and some don't. But if you move from one state to another and that state is a license state you have to take their state board. Your license doesn't carry over by state by state.
