Great comparison- it might be helpful to add a timer to the screen that starts when you hit the throttle, then stops when you get on plane, so the times of each holeshot can be compared. But as you have it, its already a lot better.
Essiently doing the same thing as trim tabs.
I’m not trying to tell you what to do but great vid but try and trim up while getting on plane if your are not already keep the good videos up love all of them man
Great video! Keep up the good work.
Are you doing that on porpoise?
Great video
You should have just got smart tabs. Same thing but 10x the adjustability and they are constantly adjusting to speed and waves.
Good tests. A definite improvement. Does the camera add 5 pounds? LOL
Hahah thank you! And something like that lol
@@ACHUNTTV well, not working in that sweat box during hot times of the year can certainly make a difference. Of course you went from one manual labor job to another. Lol.
Will it help with the bouncing too? I’m running a 2023 tohatsu 40 with 6 inches of setback on a 652 weldbilt. And all it wants to do is bounce. I can’t trim up much without it jarring my teeth loose
It might help out of the hole but once the boat is on plane the holeshot plate is completely out of the water. All it’s used for is having less drag on the mid section basically.
Sounds like the motor is too high to me.
I'm running the same setup. Mine loaded will run great, but by myself, anything above half throttle it gets stupid with me. Iv about made my mind up this year I'm wanting to just go see stump jumper in center tx and have me a 1854 built.
I need some custom decals made
I got my custom decals made from Etsy. Cheers Boys
A lot better
Dose it slow down any on top end with drag or anything
It slows it down none at all and drags on nothing. Once boat is on place the plate is completely out of water.
Grab bars don’t work on grizzly trackers they lay flat no offset up
Contact Josh at Noel and I’m sure he will get you taken care of.
Why does holeshot matter?😊
Sometimes you gotta get up on plane to clear a sand bar or shallow whatever. When in shallow water a faster holeshot means less rear end digging deeper.
