Did you weld the crankshaft? This engine likes high RPM, to take advantage of these higher specs you will need to weld the crankshaft and find a propeller diameter that will allow you to reach over 7,000 RPM. Perhaps a 10.5x17 Cleaver or a 11x18 Cleaver. You will be able to lift your engine higher and achieve higher RPM. Open the engine, weld the crankshaft. With the engine open you will be able to open the port. A D1 exhaust will help a lot (part number 3E3023110)

Great comparison- it might be helpful to add a timer to the screen that starts when you hit the throttle, then stops when you get on plane, so the times of each holeshot can be compared. But as you have it, its already a lot better.
