Ford has decided to tap into this nostalgia and make some money. The end product - Mustang Bullitt. But has the Bullitt got what it takes to be called legendary? Well, come with me to find out!

Well done, Ford! The Bullitt is a beautifully designed car. Nice and simple, nothing over the top. I would pick the green color over the black. I love the fact that it's a six-speed manual. And I can't get enough of the sound. Sweet music to the ears. Thanks for the marvelous review Anna!
I’m in Australia & I bought this model Bullitt in December 2018. Ironically I booked it in just today for a service. Was it worth the money?... HELL YEAH!!!😈👍🏼😎
Steve McQueen like Elvis will NEVER be forgotten. I think that why some people try and dismiss the whole Nostalgia vibe but if you were infected with Bullit you never forget it, why the Higland green car still pulls on your heart strings.

I watched Bullitt again recently and, honestly, what a great piece of cinema it actually is. No wonder it became a classic. Same goes for the car. Also, notice how Steve McQueen never stopped for a refuel during that endless car chase. Anna must be fibbing with regards to the fuel economy just to annoy Volvo ;)
If I was driving a new Ford Mustang on those Swiss mountain roads I would be scared to death. Well done for staying cool Anna.

My 19 Bullitt has a H pipe , and magnaride Ford racing suspension. M 9602 M suspension kit is the read deal. Springs, sways, a flash for the computer. The car in sport, or track is very loud, fast in the corners. No body roll, but full suspension travel. Amazing handling for a muscle car.

I loved the original Mustangs as a kid and of course, Bullet was one of THE movies back in the day. Great that Ford have rekindled this wonderful slice of American car history. As you say Anna - forget acceleration times, fuel consumption etc. Just revel in that wonderful V8 sound and go like you are Steve McQueen!

Hola Anna. Great to see another time an American icon on Swiss roads. This limited-edition really is for the nostalgia, and of course a fabulous marketing strategy for Ford.
The commemorative edition of Bullitt 🎥 looks fantastic. I remembered the presentation of Bullitt with Steve McQueen's granddaughter, and a very nice short clip for accredited jornalists, in spirit of movie's car chase.

Good review Anna, this is the Mustang to have in my opinion. Sure it's a tribute car but boy has Ford done it well.
Wait until U drive the new GT500 and then let's Rumble hehe, Love the Green and outdoor mother nature:))
Gt500 is automatic, meaning a lot less fun even if faster.
This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was. Salute to the mustang bullitt.

I bought a 2020 Mustang Bullitt, #L0478. Absolutely love driving it!
As a Holden man this is one Ford that I could own.
The price in Australia was $76 000 and 700 of them were brought over here and all were sold straight away.

The sound is great its what makes the car.
I guess I’m a relic from the past as well it sounds amazing it’s American muscle car .The movie is fantastic too there’s no computer animations it shot really well.anna are you going to the auto show in Geneva Rumor has it they might show the new bronco .
Hi Gus, it is one of the best American muscle cars I have driven. I think both, the car and the movie are part of the great story.
I was scheduled to go to Geneva but sadly, yesterday the entire show was cancelled. The Swiss government banned any public events over 1,000 people, fear of coronavirus. A bit disappointed, to be honest. I will make sure I come to the LA show in November to get a real taste of all the cars I love.

I drove challenger,Camaro,and mustang, to be honest ,mustang much better than dodge and the zl1, mustang it’s a combination between Europe cars and American muscle cars,that is it ,and really I think in Europe they prefer mustang(more elegant, sporty ,GT Cruzing car)

In fact, I think they will become more expensive with time and at some point, prohibited in Europe. If Europe keeps going the way it does with electric, CO2 emissions etc. What a pity would that be

Hi Anna, great videos and they’re improving. It would be much appreciayed if you could state the music in the descriptions. The editing is good but perhaps you should let some sequences be longer, i.e. music and footage for 10 seconds instead of 2, same with exhaust sound etc. Another thought is that it is better to name other cars of similar price. Taxes vary from country to country and Swiss prices are hard to relate to. Also, name the places you visit. It will make the videos more interesting and a great advertisement for your country. Love Switzerland. Some places I recoqnize but most keep me guessing.

I could never date a woman like this. We would always be fighting over who gets to drive the car, and for some odd reason she would win every argument. Loved the video. Unlike some reviews, you drive it the way it is meant to be driven.

I’m still worried about that MT82 I hope they fixed those shift forks, but they should have used the tremec...that being said it sounds much better than the regular GT, man those ratios are tall

Hi Rolf, this is a very difficult choice, to be honest. The decision would depend on several factors, if I lived in a warm, relatively dry weather, then Camaro. It's a lot more agressive, a lot more playful (read, can cause a challenge in a slippery weather if not careful). Bullitt. on the other hand, has more of that flair, it's not as raw as Camaro. I must say, I did fall in love with the Camaro, just a little bit more :-)

So when did you get a chance to drive stick last time...? Like the looks, love the sound, and adore the review - but not the fit and finish that much... Great idea to bring some nostalgia from the past, though. But where does the dig on Volvo and their fuel economy come from? Have they done something to upset you... But I do think they took a questionable direction when switching to 4-cylinders only, in my opinion the technology is not ready to challenge good old ICE tech yet - let’s see how AMG will do it if they go that route for the next C63... 😎
Not often I get an approval from Jukka ;-) So thank you ❤️ Well, you can't expect fit and finish to be superb for the price tag, something has gotta give. Here, it's the interior. But believe me, if this is a car for you, you won't care about the interior the moment you hear this machine. It just becomes irrelevant.
Well, I don't see this as a dig at Volvo but the hypocrisy of not only the brand but also society's calling Volvo safe and clean is hideous. Volvo has been very kind to me but I will always point out aspects which are bothersome. Plus, I've always said to myself, I'll never be some brands little b*, excuse my language. It's this simple. People go on and on about American muscle cars being obnoxious, calling them evil and calling the drivers selfish pigs. Well really? Not much different from driving an XC 40 with a 2L petrol engine.
Oh and that AMG story and forever politically correct (right...) Mercedes, good luck to them.
I think one of the brands which really stands out here for me is Audi, I mean the glorious V10 was unbelievably economical. Less than a Volvo for god's sake.
Hmmn.. I wonder how its engine bay looks. Is it all the usual contemporary plasticky covering or are there nice lashings of chrome..?
Now that Anna's left leg has gotten a thorough workout, will we be able to view such beauty without lasting consequences?
