I purchased the 2020 Highlander limited. A couple of the features here are only on the platinum, but I do LOVE my car. I retired in August and bought my new car. (retired teacher, so I needed the end of year deals) I am still discovering new things I love about it. My granddaughter loves the window shades (4 year old). I did a lot of research prior to my purchase and this vehicle has not disappointed me!

toyota highlander 2021 hybrid xle does not have these features ....... or I just I can’t figure it out. I don’t see most of these buttons in my car .....
I love the 'Gadgets' on the Highlander AND the RAV4. However, the Camera Rear View Mirror can be quite disorientating. It is a great idea but it still needs some tweaks.... The HUD is very cool but, they do not offer it on the RAV4 sadly....
This is so informative. However I have questions, for the canadian version of the highlander platinum hybrid 2022 I don't see the road sign assists, is it available in Canada. The suv was made in Indiana. Thanks
I got the 22 Highlander Platinum non Hybrid non AWD the supply just wasn’t there and oh boy does this thing eat gas ⛽️ and I didn’t get that digital rear view mirror cause Toyota chopped that off the list cause of supply shortages.
The rear view mirror is nice but I think drivers need to see how much of a perspective they are losing when they use this. Best way to test this is to have someone sitting in the highlander, then someone stand at he back, tell the driver while looking up at the mirror when they see the guys feet in the rear view mirror to honk the horn. Then at the back slowly shuffles his feet until the driver honks the horn, put a orange cone down. Next you do the same thing with the digital camera and you compare the distant. Now you know how much of blind spot you have.
Is this the SUV that when you begin to make a left or a right. The headlights give you the extra light on the left side more broad When you are making a left turn or right turn the light turns on I'm sorry the head light turns on on the left side of the headlight to give more light from the headlights on that turn left to right?
On the Limited and Platinum models, will you see Turn by Turn instructions in the 7" Multi Information Display that's located in the Center of the Instrument Cluster?.
.All those adjustments for terrain remind me of the gimmicks they used to put into AV Receivers in the early 90's for sound affects.....concert hall......studio.......jazz.......rock.......... etc. It was nonsense, just a reverberation and bass adjustment glorified. A well built receiver with quality power amp with a solid set of speakers did a better job of creating clear realistic sound. But, gullible audio enthusiast wasted their money on it.
Anyone with a Highlander 2020-2021 notice vibrating/shaking on the side view mirrors? I just saw a review on this vehicle saying that this is a small issue but has anyone else experienced this ?
I have the 8 seat 22 hybrid and I hate that the back window doesn’t open. Its super annoying given the tiny trunk space. Also the GPS is absolutely useless. It runs well and saves gas, but thats about it. Also if the middle seats are not locked into place they slam about very loudly until you’ve had enough, pull over and fix the situation. Compared to the 2011 Honda pilot to front console division is also not user friendly. There is no flat surface of any kind to put anything down for a minute. The touchscreen sucks too. I like the voice control but it only works for calling or looking for a radio station but not for gps. She wont find the address even when manually put in. Ridiculous. Sound is great. All in all, I purchased this car to save gas, be able to cram my 5 kids in it. I like some of the safety features, but they can also be annoying when karen (the name of out car)pulls on the steering wheel In a construction zone, not recognizing the new road.

Toyotajeff in Raleigh love the pano roof (I never open it due to the concern of weather stripping), 360 camera, and the head up display my Camry has.

I test drove a RAV4 hybrid last week, it had the rear screen mirror. It takes some getting used to. I’m holding out for a Prime though.
Be aware that current RAV4 hybrid models have fuel tank issue.
