    It took months for my 2020 Highlander to arrive, so I watched multiple video reviews. This video was the most helpful of all. I learned so much and have just customized my vehicle to my preferences all based on the info contained here. I would never have found all these settings on my own and my dealer could not go into this much detail. Thank you so much. I'm recommending you guys to everyone I know who is buying a new car!

      Wow, that’s fantastic! Thanks for the kind words. You stated the reason we make these videos. The dealers can’t deliver your car and go into this much detail and even if they did it’d be information overload before you drive off the lot. We take the time to go in-depth and with CZcams you can pause, go back, or skip ahead to find the exact information that you need. You’ve made our day BTW and congratulations on your new car! Specifically, what’s the difference between XLE and platinum infotainment. One has 6 speakers and other has 11. Demo of how they sound and a difference will be nice. Great video! I just got a 2021 Platinum. The Map Options list (pg. 84 in the navigation manual) is missing the speed limit option on my Highlander. Any idea why that would be? It’s also missing Predictive Efficient Drive but I assume that’s because it’s not a hybrid.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  Před 3 lety +2

      That's an interesting question. My thoughts are that it is not available yet, but may be in a future update. If you notice in the manual (pg. 85) it does not list a page number for details on that item, which is why I think its there for a future update. In terms of the PED not displaying, you are correct, it's because it's not a hybrid. Thanks for watching!

    • @TwoGuysandaRide

      Thanks for the question. To change the units of measurement (for example C to F) use the left steering wheel down arrow until you get the icon (4th one from top) that looks like a car with circle around the letter "i". Then use your right arrow to scroll to an icon that looks like a dashboard. now click and hold the "OK" button thats between all the arrows and you will see the word "Units". using the down arrow on the left side of the steering wheel, toggle down to it, then press "OK" again, that is where you will be able to change from Celcius to Farenheit ( it might say Metric and SAE). You can see all these steps (except I don't click on "Units") in the video starting at 11:40. Thanks for watching!

To set up the WiFi press “menu” button on infotainment screen, tap “set up”, tap WiFi, and turn WiFi on. The system should now ask you to name your vehicle hotspot so do that. It will also ask you to input a password, so go ahead and do that as well. Then turn on your phone, go to its WiFi settings and click on the name of your cars hotspot and enter the password. Here is some information about trying to reset your "Home address to get rid of the music icon. You'r correct when you say there is no information in the manual about this so I've come up with two Options for you, just read through them both then decide which one you want to try:
      1. Click on "Home" on the left, then "settings" on the screen, then "navigation" on the screen-(you may need to scroll down to see it). On the screen that pops up select "Home". My guess is there is probably an "Edit" or "delete" button next to it,
      If there is an edit button, click on it, then click on "Icon" and see if you can delete it or select "no Icon". If that choice is available. Then click on "OK" in the bottom right to save it. If you don't see an "Edit" or "Delete" button skip to Option 2,
      if fact if you see a "Delete button" click on that, it will ask you of you're sure, say yes, then go to option 2 below to re input your home address, this time without the musical icon.
      2. To reset your "Home" in Navigation first press the "Menu" button, then click on "Setup". On the left scroll down till you see "Navigation" and click on it. On the screen that pops up-click on "Home". If your at home while doing this simply click "Current address" and "Accept" at the bottom left of the screen, OR if you are not at home click on the "address button" and enter your homes address then click on "Enter" at the bottom left of the screen. Now you can enter a custom name like "Tom's Place" or skip that part and it will automatically name it "Home". Make sure the "Location" address is correct, then click on "Icon". iF there is an Icon other than music leave it, or see if there is a spot to to choose no icon. Then press "OK" to save the address.
      Hope this brings you some musical relief! Thanks for watching!

    I picked up my 2021 Highlander Platinum a few days ago. Can someone please tell me how to clear the radio cache? The replay? I cannot for the life of me figure it out, and I've watched quite a few videos and read the manual. The same song keeps showing on the screen, and the kicker is, I can't even play it! 😂

      Thanks for the question. To turn off the automatic playback of cache in the radio go to the home screen first where you see all the apps on the screen, then select radio, then on the lefthand side you should see a list of things starting with "source", look down the list till you see "Options". click on it, then a new menu opens on the right. The top thing should "Auto Pause" make sure that is set to "off". That should clear it up for you, only don't blame me if you no longer have access to your favorite "silent radio" station:)! Thanks for watching!

      We're guessing that has to do with the Computer Chip portage. Hang in there, lots of features will return once the supply chain issues settle out. Thanks for watching
