I applied for a job opening directly on the Carnival Career website, I got a job offer on 4th of July and they sent me an email with onboarding instructions. I logged in to my Rose Login Portal and submitted my passport details and filled up the general data form along with the uniform details. The mail said that I will be getting a Crew ID number after I submitted those and I still haven't got any Crew ID number or a Joining Date. The medical facility says I need a joining date to further continue with my medical tests. I don't know what to do next. Can you kindly guide me?

Passport is advised to keep ready as early as possible regardless of what to be on much safer and better side.
About C1D visa, you need to have letter of employment from the company to apply for visa because none embassy will allow you to enter any other country without any purpose.
In more easy words- letter of employment is a document that shows that you are traveling so and so country for that purpose, then the embassy guy will ask you some questions for his formalities and then ur passport is kept with him for making approval of ur visa
