Yup, we'd get the "my car smells and the ac isn't cold." The ac would be black with leaves, pine needles, and bugs. You're breathing that folks.

Use the re circ button so you circulate the cold air instead of outside warm air coming in

Changing the cabin air filters gave me a brand new ac feel in my 2004 Titan🥶 highly recommended checking

Common knowledge will make my AC blow TWICE as cold..? Or just work properly it sounds like? If you can’t be bothered to realize there’s a cabin filter in your car then you probably won’t be willing to even check it either

I spray out the condenser and radiator coils to wash bugs out. You want to do this in your home A/C unit too.

Also, when you make sure that the condenser fans are running check the fins on the condenser surface to be sure that they are not plugged with dirt, bugs, etc.. If you clean these fins the A/C will work much better!!

Since nobody mentions this online I thought I might help. If you don't change your cabin air filter periodically and it gets very dirty the dirty air and debris can get on to your evaporator core and coat it with dust preventing the air from coming in contact with it and prevents the air from the vents from getting cold.

Also you can insulate ac pipes, they usually aren't. Don't know if it's bad for the car, but the trick does work
