This was me 3 &¹/² months ago on the last corner of eastbound Carbon Canyon rd [CA-142] when I crashed Drifting at like 65-70mph in my 04 S-Runner (rest in peace )😠🥺😪😭 Woke up the whole Canyon, and all the biimers, teslas & Hondas finally caught up to me and were stuck in the line of stopped cars, cuz I took out like 100+ feet of guardrail...I def should have died.... kind of wish I had
what are you talking about? to be clear, i told that not as a fault but as a merit...he perfectly saw the crash and freezed like a cat waiting for everything to finish...but before the car even stopped, the pilot was already yelling and waving his arms and that's what activated the marshall that way, thinking they were screams of pain before realizing he was just cursing...all this happend in a second...that's what i saw
@@Tyler-dm9jw 100%. watch the side walls of the right rear tire like 1-2s after the curb strike - you can see the tire collapsing on itself and moving laterally. you can even see the rim sticking out when he loads it up in the left hander. also, the right rear tire leaves a distinctly different skid mark with two thin lines - that's where the rim is pressing into the rubber and into the road because the tire isn't holding it up anymore.
Crash safety has come a long way! Thank you to all the people who push for ever better safety standards for drivers, and, the crowds, without your commitment to keeping people alive this video could have been a lot worse to watch! Drive Safe Everyone!
Great video! I especially appreciate the use of a stereo microphone, it really makes you feel as if you're there watching the race! What mic setup did you use?
Unfortunately some of these are classics , well worth multiple viewings. Orange umber 109 on its roof and last totalled one are the best . Excellent when great drivers drift it it 👍🚗
Woww,,Great cars!!!! It Hurts to see this Chrases! Sehr geiles Video, viele echt schön getunte Autos!! Echt sehenswert!
Well when you're driving on the limit it's easy to just go slightly too far, first time watching motorsports ? They say "if you never crashed then you are not going fast enough"
They improve safety by eliminating the possibility of high speed crashes. Vehicle damage from low speed rollovers or fender benders are an acceptable tradeof when it improves the safety of drivers, spectators and therefore the continuity of the sport :)
1:34 was all 5 stages of grief playing out with each subsequent steering wheel bang and fuck in a matter of seconds. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and after the last fuck, at last; Acceptance.
5:25 thats so smooth and comical, 0 sound lmao
The birds chirping in the background... Perfect.
This one made me laugh the most.
Looks like something from topgear lol
love the tiny jump at the end
The driver of that KTM X-BOW at 1:34 was MAAAAAAD
I dont know german but I do know the word "scheiße" 😅😅
Let’s just take a moment for the camera picking up all that audio 😂
he is probably solo. drove it to the race day. and just totaled a dream car. I would be mad too
he wasn't hurt, that's for sure
Lol I had to rewind it to watch it again 😂
1:35 is honestly relatable to an extent, can't imagine how angry I'd be at losing the car as soon as I realize I'm okay
Never do something without considering the risk, that comes with it.
@@alperen194 Im sure he was aware.

Don’t race what you can’t replace.
Lol I didn’t catch this
3:39 One of the smoothest slides I have ever seen. And I’ve watched these for about 20 years now.
Yep I think that was the most satisfying drift I have ever seen. No hesitation, full send.
Beautiful!
Dude was def showing off, and I'm glad haha
he is drifting all the time, i know him personally btw
@ Fx and Flow how sad, having to boast about “apparently” knowing someone to try to
look important 😂
01:34, “Fuck fuck fuck fuck scheiße!”
Sums up that crash
😂
I came looking for exactly this comment
01:34 marshall didn't flinch for the crash but reacted because of the yells of the pilot
No he reacted because he crashed.
Because he was looking in the opposite direction down the track, he reacts to the sound of crash, then proceeded to run to the vehicle...
what are you talking about? to be clear, i told that not as a fault but as a merit...he perfectly saw the crash and freezed like a cat waiting for everything to finish...but before the car even stopped, the pilot was already yelling and waving his arms and that's what activated the marshall that way, thinking they were screams of pain before realizing he was just cursing...all this happend in a second...that's what i saw
@@bo-yc1vd you saw wrong. Marshall moved because of crash not because he heard or saw the driver in particular. Slow if you have to. Not hard.
Dude has real life delay
3:38 This Part is L E G I T 😎
Teenagers love things like that, but in racing that is slow.
2:31 is the energy of when you skin your knee playing dodgeball in elementary school, but it's not bleeding and doesn't hurt so you keep playing
9:49 first thing the guy does: fixing a cone that the car didnt even touch
"Oh shit I need to be doing something"
This time the cone said fuck you car, your not pushing me around any more. Roll over prick
1:05
"Nothing but heavy duty" 😂😂
Der Power of die bmw
1:38 he was mad, don't blame him but holy he must've been yelling pretty loud
He's like that butter Panda ad lol
3:14 that fox tail really did work!
can't believe there aren't comments about 8:13. he hit the inside curb and punctured the right rear tire in that clip... great save!
Good catch spotting that. I had to rewatch it a few times to be sure. Yes… great save by the driver.
I guess most people didn't even see that. I know I Didn't.
You sure it was the tyre popping and not the turbo?

The dude in the Subaru was definitely going for it.
Which one?
The only real Subaru, white one with the big black Wang. 😂
1:05 cameraman never dies
3:39 the star of this video!
Nope, sorry but that would be 5:25

That Saxo is a BEAUTIFUL track weapon 😍
3:38 The Perfect Drift 💀🔥 !
That white subaru and the black evo with side exit exhausts are monsters
Nah, that white Renault Clio is a true monster
The Best one is definitly 01:34 🤣😈 but 09:50 and the last one get me laughing too
The last one? Naaahhh no way.
But the one at 5:25 is an interesting one.

Love the high dollar carnage !!!
Those Plesko ''shit boxes'' sure were annoying though ! LOL
1:37 you can hear what he says lol... already smashing the car with his hands before his finished having the accident
0:57 wow was eine Aufnahme !!! Zum Glück ist nichts schlimmes passiert
bro in the E30 nailed it
that BMW took the corner beautifully
5:25 made me laugh. It was an anticlimactic crash and you just hear birds chirping in the background 😂 haha
Schöne Zusammenstellung 👍 🚘 👍
I think rally serves as the perfect example as to why speed limits exist! Still, such a fun looking sport.
There isn't a single hill climb with out crashes, beautiful cars, all good drivers and some funny actions!
Lovely video ++ for not overlaying your favorite soundtrack. They audio is superb.
That first crash was brutal. Just a little tap on the grass and he was done.
where was this filmed? i would love to attend this years hillclimb
Hats off to the guys in the open wheel class, always get nervous when I see them in these types of videos
All these Porsches crashing brings me joy

The audio on this entire video is excellent
1:02 idk who was filming but damn good reflex
3:42 driver can easily handle 4x more power lol
And how exactly can he do that
No, actually he can not!
That evo had a smooth as$ drift thru the corner at 8:27
Shame it couldn’t hold it
I love it how the tiny cars always bin it at the tires lol
Oh that wide body Yugo 😀💪💪👏👏
Interesting driving skills. Not every one knows there limit.
I feel that these drivers are overestimating the condition of the roads lol
@@Hungry_God no they’re all rally drivers they’ve been doing it for years, you only get so lucky when you race on a road three feet wide all day

Got to admit tho, something about it keeps us all watching like 👀
Fantastic videos. Going to start adding motorsport to my channel
Every time I see an Evo, I brace for a nasty slam or a kickass move. They really push those cars.
My heart goes out to that XBow. That honestly sucks.
5:22
What was the old saying at the Nürburgring before they got guardrails?
"Hedge open, hedge shut, car gone."
1:36 that reaction by the Marshall was so late
1:34 "Duck, puck, luck! Shy-Tzar!"
Hill climbing is one of my favourite forms of motorsport - challenging roads, beautiful scenery and awesome cars!
I couldn’t take my eyes off this
Those man with Audi A4 ( S4 or RS4 from 2000 ) and Citroën saxo are damnly fast !!!

That poor 3cyl Twongo sounds and looks like it's about to give on life
1:35 I wonder did this guy come behind the corner already whacking the wheel xD Can even hear him cursing.
8:57 That evo hooked like crazy. Good driver, i would have crashed it. x.D

The loud cursing at 1:38 😂

Ironically the chicanes are probably designed to improve safety yet they cause most of the crashes.
100% of crashes are due to engineer or driver mistakes.
