- #cjmowing A subscriber to CJ Mowing reached out and asked if we could help Stevie, 80 year old disabled women fighting to keep her home. Her lawn lady DUMPED her after 5 years of service. Stevie is already struggling to make ends meet as the cost of living has increased even for the most basic of needs. We spent a couple hours visiting and exchanged many stories. We offered to mow the lawn absolutely FREE to which she was very happy and thankful for but also very happy and shocked with the results!
This video is a follow up to a GoFundMe that we started requested by many viewers as a way to show their support as they were touched by Stevie's story. As a low income senior I can't give but I pray those that can continue to help this wonderful woman. There has to be someone who can pay off her house in full.
@@lynnegackstetter2779 I am also a senior on a fixed income. I am in the process of getting a reverse mortgage so I don't have the stress and live comfortably for the remainder of my life. Someone needs to speak to her about a reverse mortgage so that she doesn't lose her home and can live comfortable for the remainder of her life.
Not sure if she can do this or not, but if her husband was getting Social Security and she is over age 55, she can possibly apply to get widow's pension. If she is getting SS and it's less than what he was getting, she would get that amount. I hope I'm making sense here. Also, she possibly can apply for the Homestead tax reduction where she pays her property taxes.

@carinakaron8068, my question is, 'Where are her kids?' 😯😠 So many elderly people in this world and their kids are nowhere to be found to help them. I can pretty much guarantee that when she is gone those kids will want their share of Stevie's estate. SMH!! Breaks my heart. 😢😢

I'm 65 and disabled. My wife is disabled as well and has dementia to boot. During the Summer I have a really (really) small scale mowing service that I totally enjoy. It keeps my body and my mind active. I don't have to tell you the things you can think of on a mower. I think of song lyrics as I am a song writer by trade. I found your channel this Summer's end. It was a treasure chest of entertainment for a sore, tired old man. I am addicted to mowing videos and your channel is the first one I stop at. I've done a few free cuts to help folks out so I know the sense of satisfaction and the joy of serving it can provide. There is a word in GREEK for a willing servant. "Dulou" It is where we get the term for modern midwife; Dulas. My point is, what you and your viewers did for this lovely lady makes me proud to be a viewer, a mower, and in some small way a walker of this planet. We know what it's like to live check to check and to have more month at the end of the money. She deserved that hand up and you guys ROCK THE BLOCK!!
